I'm not a graph tracker but it looks very positive to break north out of its recent trading range on the next positive RNS. £7.3m is just far too cheap for a fully operational HMG certificated SOTA cyber-security business and intelligence operation run by ex UK military guys and fully vetted staff.

Nice little £20k buy there - now let's upswing to reflect the business.

The kudos associated with Falanx tying up government departmental contracts has yet to be appreciated or factored in. The UK is widely regarded as having the best intelligence and cyber-security in the world. Look at who supplied most of the 'chatter' evidence to the European security agencies in the recent terrorist attacks. We Brits are highly regarded and Falanx covers all three aspects of staff, government and commercial security. That's strong selling tackle for European contracts imo. We have significant, unrealised embedded value way above our current MCap which must be being closely watched.

Think the valley floor is 7.00/7.25 before we track up again. The interims were good, outlook positive on all fronts and Glencore win but we are still in the AIM doldrums. Porta has the ability and history to step-jump on news and I expect this will be no exception. Scurrilously oversold, the bottom feeders are getting an absolute bargain here IMO. Just wish Porta could build enough momentum to get out of AIM and onto the FTSE small caps below £100k - then we would be taken seriously as a growth stock with a great future......... Dream dream.....

Capital Access are IMO. Steffan should task them with a major PR exercise for Porta. We are not sticking our heads above the parapet enough for the instos. Mind you, if I were Steffan, I'd tuck some away at this derisory level. THEN, I'd relate the a Porta story to a receptive investor platform picked by Capital.

This is so oversold imo at present that the next update should ignite the fuse. Steffan has been diplomatically quiet in his first six weeks as MD. I have no doubt that his appointment was intrinsic in getting the multi-billion-dollar Glencore as a client for Newgate. That's a very impressive start and liable to have occupied a great deal of his time. Brilliant that he hit the ground running. Now he's bedded in we should start to get initial assessments and updates across the group. So what am I expecting? A positive trading update with good EBITDA growth and cash-generation rolling into H2 with all subsidiaries in the group adding to the bottom line. A long-awaited renegotiated loan debt from 12% down to below 10%. A fair and balanced view from the new MD Steffan Williams indicating present trading and prospects. I suspect the MM's are aware that he will wish to buy into the company in the near future and are taking the opportunity to gather stock onto their books at these oversold prices. Given the quality of the recent Glencore PR win following the 2sisters brief, the future looks solid for Porta from here as organic growth starts to pay dividends. The excision of the poor performers earlier in the year should have streamlined operations and helped underpin cashflow.

We haven't seen a lot of position-taking................ yet. This is too hot a field to be ignored by the instos for much longer as the horizon gets bluer every day. Top class ops in a red-hot arena.

Glencore signed up Newgate only a couple of weeks after Steffan left Finsbury. Glencore had previously worked with Finsbury so it looks as if we are now attracting the calibre of client that David Wright foresaw. The spec was such that it must have involved a lot of hands-on work from the start and I have little doubt that Steffan has been fully occupied with this multi-billion dollar client to ensure success. Lets hope its the first of many high-profile contracts.

Falanx Group's turnover for the year ended 31 March 2014 was £4.44 million, with Falanx Intelligence and Falanx Resilience's turnover being £1.56 million and £2.88 million respectively. Falanx Intelligence and Falanx Resilience made a profit in the reporting year - £87,000 and £699,000 before tax respectively. This was pre-cyber. Any return to these levels as a result of current terrorist activity and need for border/perimeter security would certainly change the picture and the recent interims indicated that negotiations were underway. Add in the cyber and MCap just looks too low.

Bottomed - and up for a second run at that 14p ceiling? I reckon that the post interim contracts in cyber are bearing fruit and investors have taken their eye off the intelligence and resilience ball where negotiations have been very lucrative in the past.

Porta is finally in the position to start to blow its own trumpet via Capital Access Group. The tie-up in July which saw Porta take a 29.5% stake use of the Skylight tower building could be just the ticket for increased investor exposure at this very important transition point. We are in the sweet spot for all three Falanx ops - cyber, intelligence and resilience. George Osborne has focused attention for all companies to take the increased cyber risk seriously and the recent awful events in Paris have highlighted the need for intelligence and security, both playing into the strengths of the company. If we have not noticed a huge increase in interest for all our services in the last seven days then we never will. I am optimistic that there are plenty of contracts out there and we have a tiered offering to suit cyber security plus a range of services for increased personnel and company security. Border and perimeter security must be a prime focus for business.

Thanks for the info and your reasoning. I reckon cash-burn is running at £200k pm so we should have cash to end March. We should be gaining traction in cyber now, and I anticipate break-even before then with our MDS tie-up. The Principia trial should now be rolling out and inclusion of mobile in Q1 2016 should propel growth. Intelligence services should be increasingly cash-generative in the current climate and I would expect Resilience or Intelligence to announce at least one near/middle-east contract in the close future centred around border security. I would therefore hope that no further funding or dilution would be required after our 14p placing in May and that we have an excellent Chairman in prospect, appointment of whom will help with the long-awaited rerate. We are woefully undervalued at this level. It is worth stating the obvious to institutions that to set up a CERT approved cyber operation from scratch alone would cost far in excess of our current £7.3m MCap with Intelligence and Resilience in for free. This is obviously based on my own reasoning; DYOR. The fact that Falanx have attracted high-calibre Qinetiq staff is indicative of prospects imho.
