If they keep taxing like this, what motive will anyone have to work hard, create businesses and save etc. There’s too much tax, too much hassle and stress. I read online this morning that ministers are thinking of ways to raise taxes further. Ends up impacting the poor and middle class even more than the rich in many ways.

High taxes for everyone are bad and affect working people too. Many hardworking ‘working’ people save throughout their lives. They can’t just suddenly be classed as wealthy and taxed through the nose. It will mean less money will be spent and less money to go around to support jobs and businesses. Places like Dubai with little tax are booming. But back to Capita, it’s doing well so far. Expecting good news on 17 June.

Thanks gents. I was estimating around 40p a share /£6 too and was wondering what other investors think. I’m not selling a single share yet!

We all know that cash flow is likely to turn positive soon and that costs are being cut etc, but has anyone got any share price predictions. Is 40p / £6 likely to be far off?

A good week. Yes an 80% increase would take us into £4 territory- possible if we get some good news

At the end of the second week after the consolidation, the price is going up. There’s no way I’d sell any shares now. Seems like shorters are trying to scare people. Cost cutting targets are being met / exceeded, contracts are being won and we’re due to reach free cash flow by the end of the year at the latest. Why would anyone sell now??? No brainer

Coming back to the subject of Capita- the share price is holding well. Makes me think it should go up more when we get some positive announcements (maybe on 17 June). It should be looking at doubling at the very least within 6-12 months to be fair to it.

Great news for Capita. I suppose they must be saving up all the good news for 17 June. Definitely going the right way.

Yes Capita is a lot different to Hemo. If a few things go right I don’t see why we can’t go to £5+. Consolidation won’t increase market cap but I think it will indirectly put it in the direction of a market cap increase if eg more investors start buying now that we’re no longer a penny share. This will increase the share price and therefore the market cap in due course.

I was initially against the consolidation but in all fairness - 1.7 bn shares was a lot of shares! I suppose it had to be trimmed to size to move forward and become stronger and also prepare for future dividends.

Personally I wonder if that would also help to move to the ftse250 or ftse100. Hopefully the June update will be good.

Yes hopefully we’ll get some good news on 17 June. I expect they didn’t do an update today as we only had one last month. Exciting times ahead. Go Capita

I’m hoping we’ll get more institutions investing which will push up the price. We’ll get some money from the share premium account too (which was basically just spare cash anyway) . Hopefully they could put that towards a dividend or share buyback.

The next chapter of the recovery starts tmrw then!

It’s been a long wait but we’re not too far off now.

From what I can see, the stage is being set for this share to fly. Many employee issues such as pay are being addressed, I can’t see why shareholders won’t be next. Exciting times ahead. That’s when there’ll be FOMO and there’ll be a rush for this share.

Based on what I just wrote, I don’t think a dividend announcement is too far either. They did say during the March results that funds from the Premium account could be used for shareholders at a time of their choice (or words to that effect?

I think things will start start to improve by the end of the year when they announce that we’ll be cash flow positive going forward. I don’t think it’ll be 10 years 😀. I estimate things will be looking a lot better within 12-18 months. Contracts are coming in, we’re getting positive press reports, we’re hoping to unlock spare cash in the premium share account.

Excellent news- Go Capita! Nice to see it in the green. Hopefully it will go onwards and upwards from here.

By the way, I’ve just read that ‘Capita has applied for a block listing of 7000000 ordinary shares on the London stock exchange effective 14 April’. Does anyone know whether this has any significance?

Yes I agree the share price should be a lot higher. I wish I’d bought at this price.

Nothing new recently that I know about but I’m not very senior. I’ve put a few in the chat before. I know they’ll be working away at something as we speak. I spoke to investor relations this morning too who assured me that the medium term plan is on target.

As well as working for Capita and knowing that there is a seriousness about getting things done, I also research quite a bit (internal and external material). Capita labs, you may be aware have identified around 150 areas of interest. We’re looking at how we can help the govt to streamline too. Things like that added to meeting and exceeding cost saving targets shows how serious Capita is.
