Any idea why the share price is taking a break today? Serious answers only plz.

It’s likely to move up further in the coming weeks but I expected it to stay at 400p.

I’m a long term holder though, I know it’s only a short term drop.

A bit quieter today.

The June update was apparently delayed until confirmation that the private contact centre has been completed which should be before H1 results.

Hoping for good news that the CCPS has been sorted. I emailed IR too. They say they are committed to getting it sorted. Should find out in the next 3.5 weeks.

Hard to know for sure till the end of the month. I really hope they pull out all the stops to get this sorted.

Adolfo and Pablo have bought more Capita shares. Well done guys. Shows great faith in the turnaround. A lot of director purchases this week.

Hopefully the rise in share should continue next week.

So in other words, that would mean the share price more than trippled. Maybe he thinks the Capita share price will triple too. That would take to around £12 a share. It’s easy to see why that 900 target was ‘conservative’

A combination of things like re-entry to the Ftse250, continued and increasing + free cash flow, sorting out the civil service pension scheme, better figures due to selling off the loss making private sector contact centre is all likely to result in re-rating and a significant increase in the share price.

We are also within sight of a dividend after many years. That will be a game changer!

Yes, I was working it out the other. According to my brief calculation, when the Capita share price gets to approximately £4.13 we’ll have the min market cap to re-enter the ftse250. The next reshuffle is 22 June I believe.

We should definitely be reaching that price in the coming weeks all being well.

Like I said before, I think Capita is one to hold. I did a spot of trading a few years ago and it was mixed but now is definitely not the time as you risk missing the big prize. Hardly anyone would disagree that the turnaround is pretty much complete.

It doesn’t affect me what other members too, I just don’t want to hear sad stories in 12 months of people selling out too early trying to make a quick buck and missing out when the share price rises. 😀.

It is possible to make a bit here and there buying and selling but doing that with Capita would be highly risky, especially at a time when there’s upward momentum. I’m holding for the long term.

I think we’ll get a good idea of the long term price once dividends are announced (as that will bring more investors on board).

The share price has moved steadily upwards this week which was nice to see.

It’s looking very good. If it continues like this, 900 (or thereabouts) is do-able. Sky’s the limit with Oasis on board.

Totally agree @MarcusExile. That’s the big news I forgot to add 🤣. Oasis taking a seat at the board is big news. They will want returns quickly and they will have it be listened to. It should mean a quicker rise in the shares price and maybe dividends?? 🤞

Generally seems very good (although I haven’t had a chance to study it fully). I was looking forward to the June update.

I wonder how the contact centre business will affect the figures. Overall it will be better as well stop losing money but in the short term will there be a one off cost? The sale is expected to be completed before the h1 results I think so we might not be waiting too much longer. Hopefully we should get confirmation about the ccps being sorted next month too. Overall, I can see 400+ in the near future and skys the limit after that

I worry about you for needing to sulk when you don’t get the answer you want. I explained my point of view politely and didn’t just say a figure for the sake of it.

No one knows about the long term for anything but in the short term not much will change, if it does, then Capita must adapt with it. We can’t stand still like Nokia

I don’t think politics will affect Capita at least in the short to medium term. The 20 billion pipeline is unlikely to change overnight.

I think Capita just needs to keep doing what it does and at the same time make improvements to streamline (same as what Oasis suggested).
