If, instead, you are suggesting they are brilliant at the science then you may have more of a point but I don't think a brilliant board of directors would preside over such a prolonged period of value erosion. Their job is to create shareholder value and I haven't seen any yet. They have a LOT to prove.

14 - Isn't the Hardman report just something commissioned by VAL? They are useful for touching base but need to be taken with a pinch of salt as anything in them will obviously have a hint of bias. It doesn't actually say anything new either so maybe even they are running out of positives?

Just checking in here and see it is still at a complete standstill. Am I ever going to see a return on this bloody investment? Kurt must be pulling his hair (ha!) out. He still looks to be plugging away at the government but what a brick wall they have turned out to be! I have a completely different view of the Swede's over this, I thought they were better than this! Best of luck everyone.

I think the reason the word patience is used so much on AIM is because very few people have it. AIM is the realm of the punter and, generally speaking, they don't have much of an understanding of business. A quick buck is hard to come by because multi-million pound deals don't tend to happen overnight. Stay long on this one and ideally forget about it for a while. It will come good. Day to day fluctuations only bother you when you check every day.

Chinese business is very ad hoc so they certainly won't work to a timeline. We have already seen them in action and they have taken a long time to get to this stage. It could be a long wait but however long that wait is the reward is worth it. Patience is the key here.

I’m sure everybody understands that they are at fault for investing. They aren’t at fault for the BOD running the company into the ground though. Should a shareholder not mention the glaringly obvious mismanagement then?

I think you are underestimating the amounts people have lost because of this shower of a BOD. It’s not worth anybody’s whole to sell. They may as well go sh!t or bust. Don’t protect the BOD from the criticism they deserve.

it’s genuinely sad that people are still optimistic here. It’s blind hope and nothing more. Most people have lost so much money that they NEED it to come good rather than they have assessed the chances and thought this is a good investment. The BOD are the lowest of the low, this is their worst placing yet after saying they are so close to a deal. It’s all absolute rubbish but there is nobody to stop them - who can prove a deal isn’t close? I could tell you that I’m in talks with big pharmaceuticals - prove I’m not.

You don’t have to explain to me how a deadline works or who Ruth are. I’m ****ed off that there is a high probability that they are going to let the deadline pass unacknowledged. I just poor management and poor PR. As I said, it’s the SP that will suffer. Everybody seems okay with that which is weird but good look to you all. It’s an odd investment strategy to be okay with substandard performance. Admittedly, I could wait until Monday to say this but we all know there is a very small chance of an update today. It’s nearly midnight in China anyway... if they can’t be arsed to finalise the deal over the course of 10 months they aren’t going to be beavering away by candlelight are they. It’s just common sense.

Oh okay then. I assume you are sat there with your fingers and toes crossed repeatedly telling yourself that it’s still August 31. Quiet ironic that you are so desperately clinging on to the last few hours of this deadline that you think anyone else that isn’t is automatically a dimwit.

Regardless of how long you think it takes both companies agreed for everything to be completed by 31 August and there seems to be a 99% chance of that not happening. For some weird reason you seem to be okay with them missing their self imposed deadline even though you know that this means the price will crash on opening on Monday.

I hate people that shut down any opinion that isn’t their own. Is this really how you wanted this scenario to play out? So I have to pretend everything going is perfect or sell? Those the only options are they?

All Ruyi have had to do is transfer some money and put somebody forward to be in the board. They have had since last November to do this. It’s like pulling teeth. And you lot are all saying watch this space as if the orders are going to pour in... they don’t seem in much of a hurry to me.

Typical aim, nothing but disappointment after disappointment. Why can’t anybody do what they say they are going to do?
