I thought the interview was positive.
The fact that CB specifically mentioned other projects in the region and their JV or sale prices, coupled with the fact that their grades were lower than ECR’s potential is a great sign. And he seems like a decent fella which is important for negotiations, don’t want someone too arrogant thinking they deserve more than they worth.
The funded for a year comment was very encouraging, but how can he be so sure of that? Is that because he is so sure a Creswick deal will happen? Or partly because any action there if having to go it alone will take place further than a year into the future?
And on Bailieston, it appears we are going it alone so this work would commence within this year time frame also? If so that’s a positive- it means that we will have gold coming out of the ground before any need for funding.
As a holder this gives me a fair bit of sanctity and with the right news flow, of which we were told to expect a fair bit going forward, this will hopefully be a steady journey up rather than the one day spikes a lot of people were hoping for
So what do you all think will class as good explorations results?
And as for the timing, august is well underway, I’m guessing when a CEO gives a time frame it’s something they have to act on so we can’t be far off now! We could see a nice spike up in the next couple of weeks after exploration news and then it’s just holding out for the Creswick news- we may even get more clues from this months RNS
Fingers crossed
Since posting on here I thought not to be lazy and did a bit of googling but your example reads better than anything I found. Thank you very much for explaining -
So can we find out when these warrants that are out there expire? I know there have been a couple of RNS’s related to them - has there been a deadline set which is why there is a big sell off? Or is it more that a 2p price is a great profit for those warrantees
If like you say these are large stake investors it will inevitably wobble the share price but with news inbound let’s hope some even bigger investors see the opportunity here! But I guess they wouldn’t want to get in just yet - I think you mentioned that in a previous post when you suggested news may not come until warrant issues are sorted (apologies if it wasn’t you that said this)
Thanks again
Thanks for that Gino- could I ask a very naive question as to how warrants work- new to trading and have been in ECR since 0.78 but have scaled in more significantly recently and then the. Eww of the warrants came which I will hold my hands up and admit I don’t know anything about them!
If someone can explain how/why warrants are granted and then how/when they are exercised I am sure there will be more than myself who would gain!
Appreciate it all, enjoying the discussions on this board and waiting for some drilling news shortly :)
its demoralising when you think you've built yourself a good position given the news and prospects, as well as the recent placing to be thrown back a couple of steps. I'll still be holding until we hear news on drilling and a JV but would rather have a more comfortable ride up than fearing near term fluctuations..guess it comes with the territory! Does anyone know what reasons might be behind this new placing?
Can someone please tell me when ORM last had a placing? struggling to find via RNS's
thanks
