The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
This is the license that connects the dimmocks main shale to our existing footprint, I would say arguably most lucrative license to obtain.
a very proactive chap on telegram has been in email exchange with the department that deals with mining in Victoria - they have said the license application from Mercator is currently in the advertising period open for comments and objections and this period ends on the 5th May 2021.
I think there are a couple more stages beyond this and I don’t know how long they take but this for me is a very positive step in our bid to expand our existing license at CresWick (no silent W) and progress any JV talks....if they exist at all

there's a chip shop near me called the happyhaddock in York....and there was my thinking you're a frying part time investor lol.....sounds like quite a life....interesting to see how such a diverse group of people end up investing in a junior gold mine. On my part, i'm a part time investor, starting only last year, run a fish and chip shop up north and write about the existentialism of British Asian identity....
Feel like the chat will continue in this vein for a few months now until we here more about the Creswick contracting - also got the 2 drill holes to look forward to. In the mean time i feel like the macro economy will continue to prop up the Gold price . For me that's why i entered this sector, i think the Gold sector will be a hot one - should maybe have spread my eggs across a few more plays but hey ho..
anwyays getting close to tea time, better fry my fish cakes
Always interested in learning more JTB. Find myself flicking through too much emotional stuff on these boards - should see the telegram group the last few days....
What format are you thinking? And surely it just becomes another bulletin style board?
So far out of all the possible explanations I’m with you boffin. Hoping to be proved wrong of course as we all want things to be quicker rather than slower. Simply my good average of 1.7 is allowing me to breathe easier rather than convincing myself of this or that
Slowly weaning or resource companies as they aren’t good for the brain! But hoping this sector/ this jurisdiction / these licenses and this CEO all come together to make a success here
I’ve sold a little today. If a company can’t delivery or even give an excuse when promised, that’s not good enough. I know that’s not how markets work but it is frustrating and other places can work my money harder right now. Don’t mind if this goes crazy one day as I’ve left a fair bit in, but also can’t just wait forever when dates keep getting set back
So tempting to sell when a company doesn’t meet its targets, multiple times. Not even a delay/ reason why. I think if they mentioned a delay today it would see a huge drop...think it’s time to derisk. If it comes good I’ve still got some invested
Thankfully my average was around 2p buying at good levels but this is no where near the type of news we were expecting, no point in even kidding ourselves. Will look again in a few months but it’s a longer term play now, any sustained growth will take a lot longer than I was hoping.
Hope it comes good for the patient ones, but for me it’s a reminder why mining sector is so risky
I just don’t get why the share price is still where it is- they raised 2.5 million in feb 2019 and a 2.5p
Why are we still down here? I do see some downward selling pressure from griffiths- that May continue if he wants out altogether but that’s not a bad thing per se
What are peoples hopes when we see the financials in the next couple of months? Does the company still have enough cash do we think? It’s difficult to know when we don’t know the size of contracts, as impressive as they are
Noticed a while ago people saying we have to wait till May to get some action - is that simply when the end of years are due? So we will have a better idea of contracts / recurring revenues?
No idea why they staggered that! Bit of an anti climax
One thing that stood out was the clarity around putting an extra hole or 2 into creswick will be part of the farm in JV - so runs contrary to some thoughts that maybe we are looking to proof up again, clear that it will be with our partners. That’s quite significant for me, but don’t know why they couldn’t release that with so called part 1
Part one cut off quite prematurely - why would they do that ? Hmmmm Gino you’ve got the speculation bouncing in my head. I think I’ve got the AIM bug and it’s not healthy.
I will get on with normal life until I get confirmation!
Share talk ‘look forward to speaking with
