Herbert is director of IRR,Prem & MH Holding.
There stands a very good chance that MH Holding and Prem will be involved in a RTO.
MH Holding has revenue stream and is profitable.
Hertbert and wife own Cambrian Ltd.
Cambrian Ltd has made loan to MH Holding.
Prem has appointed Cunningham to search for companies that group could acquire.
Stephen Dattels is very close to Roach and Herbert.
IRR needs cash to develop assets--could this be the answer.
Have no research to back up my opinion--however the glove would fit.

CM: Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (Zesa) recently introduced a load shedding programme. What impact will it have on the mining sector?


IK: Obviously, reduction of electricity, which is a critical input for mining, has a severe bearing on the output. It is our prayer and we are engaging on that front to ensure that in the interim the industry will remain guaranteed the scarce electricity that is available.

We are a critical sector and we need to continue playing our role in generating foreign currency that is required to import electricity, which may also be required to import critical goods and services for the country, so we are engaging the authorities. We are also talking to Zesa, so that we can work together in assisting them just like in the past when we supported them on the importation of electricity.

Mike29-interesting point about being taken private,have you considered the possibility of a take over by a cash generating mining company.A company where both are served by the same director.
It is only speculation and my opinion.

Very positive about putting in the electric facilities.
Now show me the documents that there will be continuous supply to the mine.
Miners are facing a lot of problems with power supply;

Miners have raised concerns over power cuts that have affected production and want to be allowed to keep all their foreign currency earnings because they are disadvantaged by having a proportion paid to them in Zimbabwe dollars.

But that request was shot down by central bank governor John Mangudya who told the meeting the miners could not keep all their earnings in forex because the government needed some of the money to fund crucial imports like fuel, power and medicines.
