I agree wholeheartedly about the viability of low-grade spodumene and its vital importance to Zulu.
The lower grade is outside the scope of the Canmax deal, can be sold at the gate and come 2027, as an industrial mineral is not included in the export restrictions. The sale of industrial minerals will play a vital role in securing a cash flow, especially in 2026.
With respect, I think you are getting confused on output figures. There is common agreement that the Zulu nameplate equals the production of 4000 tonnes of concentrate per 28 day runnthen you apply the recovery rate to achieve saleable product. At a recovery of say 50 %, this will give you 2000 tonnes of SC6.
The same principle applies to the lower grades.
Also, Graham Hill has opted for a 28-day programme; he will not achieve 2000tonnes per month, and he will get two paydays every 3 months, working based on 4/7 days of basic maintenance after each 28-day run.
IMO Hill must increase production at Zulu.
