RE: Monolian oil production declining.22 Aug 2025 15:44
Transcript of the Gobi part of the presentation, maybe Adw can read it and try and understand it.

But the log analysis was more complex here, it was shallower, the water salinities change, etc. So, whilst we got indication from the petrophysics, there was some oil saturation here, or rather, let's say, less water saturation, which basically means oil.
And the shows were a little bit, actually we did some geochemistry on the cuttings, which indeed did prove that there's migrated oil in the cuttings that were looked at, as well as perhaps a little bit of in-situ generated hydrocarbon.
from some very good source rocks indeed in the well, but that's very immature. But certainly there seems to be a migration front of hydrocarbon through the well. And the question is, has the trap worked at this location to capture that migrating oil? There is a zone in the lower zone of the log there that has better
or lower SWs or water saturation. And that's across about a 10 meter interval. And that's the interval that we would look to go and put a test across and open it up through perforations and monitor if we get any flow out of the formation at all. So this would be a more simpler well test and a cheaper well test just to prove, or rather answer the question, is
there a pool of migrated hydrocarbon trapped at this location?
It's a pretty low-cost activity. We'll have the rig, obviously, from Gazelle, so the move is quite cheap, and the operation itself is quite cheap. So, hopefully, we can do the end of the season if we get time before the weather window shuts us down.
