MB states we will make over $40 per barrel based on $70 sales price selling to China so selling direct to the refinery we will save around $9 per barrel.

GOBI well test & complete (if it got that far) = 2.5 million, then a few million left.

Difficult to assess the year ahead until we know where funding is coming from and how much we have to develop Heron, for myself i still see a loan as the best option but others think DQE tie up, only thing we all agree with is we dont want a placing, that said a loan needs repaid and DQE tie up means giving a % of our riches away probably forever, given Heron field has a 25 + year life span thats a lot of cash to share when all we really need is 10 - 15 million to become self sustaining, 10-15 million would see H3 and and H4 drilled with enough cash to complete both.

Yes we can manage with a lot less than 10 or 15 million, 5 million gets H1 and H2 up and running at full production with more than enough for GOBI if its worth another look, pretty sure it is, we would still have a million or two left if we limited work to these three wells.

Mongolia need 30,000 bopd every day for the refinery to run at 100% capacity, they need wells drilled ASAP as you cannot magic up wells the month before the refinery needs the oil, invariably wells do not deliver their full potential right out of the box, often as not remedial tweaks are re-quired to get the well flowing at best capacity, Mongolia can run the refinery at 30 or 40% capacity but their goal is to be self sufficient, they cannot be self sufficient running the refinery at 40% ca-pacity.

Refinery oil requirements as below.

30,000 x 365 = circa 10,950,000 barrels per year.

Crude oil production in Mongolia peaked in 2015 at just under 9 million barrels a year.

In 2022 Mongolia produced around 2.5 million barrels a year.

PC started drilling in TAMSAG Basin in 1995 so high percentage of PC earlier drilled wells are run-ning dry, Mongolia need MATAD to get busy, its in Mongolia’s interests to see MATAD drill many many more wells ASAP.

Its the corruption of this board that gets my goat, as for potentially disastrous situations i assume you mean only 10p by year end.

Personally i think Petrovis investors would rather see a closer tie up with MATAD now that they are an oil producer and the refinery is not that far off, as Mongolia’s largest fuel supplier i would assume Petrovis will also be the refinery’s biggest customer, what better than have a stake in the company that is supplying oil to the refinery, win win both ends of the supply chain.

Mongolia’s Precarious Energy Security, they need the refinery and they need a lot more oil than they are currently producing to run it. MATAD happy to help.

Gusto, "IF" that were the case we would have had an RNS telling us H1 production had been suspended, we have 2 onsite storage tanks at the well site that need emptied every day, these are trucked to PCs TA-1 underground storage facility where our oil is mixed with PCs oil, seems kinda obvious that TA-1 facility would not want anymore oil from MATAD mixed in with their oil so H1 well would need shut in to stop production,

No RNS stating this means your story is a work of fiction (but it was a good one, full marks for effort).😂

Given our oil is being mixed with PC oil in underground storage reservoir i doubt your X guy is correct, cannot exactly pull MATADs oil out.

Hamm, in all honesty that is far above my pay grade, however based on Herons estimated recoverable oil in place (see link below) i would have thought anything under 300 million for only Heron field was theft.

Easy to see why the stock bashers have been putting thousands of hours into suppressing the sp, this is worth billions to someone.

Would agree that if there were a takeover attempt the offer would likely be lower tham LTH would like, especially when stacked up against Herons worth in the future, from memory i believe 63 million barrels of recoverable oil is in place at our Heron field alone.

So its worth is 63,000,000 x $75 (estimated) = $4,725,000,000 even being conservative and halving that figure makes a mockery of our 20 million mcap.

And its all ours.

Hamm, agree with what you say, very likely the US are gunning for IRAN and very likely oil prices will rise to well over $100,

As Thornogson said we make 40+ dollars per barrel on selling at $65-70 so at higher oil price we make a hell of a lot more, costs stay the same but profits increase.

H1 increased production coming soon, exactly how many bbl/d unknown but 500+ seems a conservative figure, add to this whatever we can get H2 producing at and we are in Happy Days, only way is up once we get these easy and straight forward remedial works completed.
