Just look at the RNS history over the last couple of months: it’s insane. Yet SP has done nothing but collapse.

Is this the one that finally pushes that SP up??

I like this stock and I like the company. I am a shareholder.

The vitriol on this thread is cringe and belongs on Twitter.

However, you cannot get away from the fact that Dennis has overseen a large reduction in shareholder value, despite I think bullish factors (cash reserves, pending FID, GB Energy/Clean Power plan, growing enquiry list). When is he going to start managing the market better? Telling us he has the biggest enquiry list he’s seen in his career doesn’t make me want to back him. Where are the orders?

There’s only so much faith you can give a business that’s now at a near 5YR low.

This is a clear indicator that ‘this is happening’ - very exciting.

For this company to spend $550K is no small/opportunistic decision.

Of all the recent RNS and other media regarding China/Tungsten, this is the piece of news that has made me most bullish.

To all those saying because SP is now low 30s that ITM is a takeover prospect: under the Takeover Code anyone buying >30% of the voting rights would need to offer at least the highest price paid on the market in the last 12 months to existing shareholders, which is about ~66p and therefore double the valuation as of today.

Next week is just a trading update. I’d expect more material announcements, like you suggest, to be published via RNS or at HY/FY results presentation.

For example, last years December trading update was very short and simply confirmed trajectory v. consensus with no real detail.

As a LTH, of course I hope for sentiment-altering news but I’m not holding my breath.

Completely agreed. Turned into an absolute joke.

But regardless of ethics etc, surely regardless of the price the shorters buy up at, the very fact they are exiting their position should be positive for SP overall?

Or given they’ve closed their position at huge profit and not got squeezed on the way up, they can keep playing their game…albeit entry point now much riskier and lower profit potential.

I can’t confess to ever truly understanding UT. I have seen some fairly large transactions go through at UT (but and sell) and then not make impact to SP next day.

But surely to sell, there has to be a buy? And if someone if buying 16.5M shares then we are in for a ride.
