Just reminding myself of holding in Fulcrum Metals and came across this in RNS of 8/10/24:

Panther currently holds a total of 7,625,122 ordinary shares in Fulcrum representing a 12.38% interest in the entire issued share capital of Fulcrum, plus 714,286 warrants exercisable at 17.5p with a two-year life from 14 February 2023 and a further 476,190 warrants exercisable at 26.25p with a three-year life. Panther also retains a 2% net smelter return ("NSR") royalty over the Big Bear Project.

FMET closed at 8.75p on Friday so two-year warrants are worthless and the three-year warrants look very unlikely with a 3x rise required in 12 months.

I wonder if we will see an RNS this week to confirm warrants have been renegotiated?

It’s a wreck. I don’t mind being invested in a stock that takes a punt and it doesn’t pay off, or the macro changes, etc but this guy has just been mugging me off.

CEO retreated out of public view whilst the SP continues to get peppered with relatively chunky sell offs.

When negotiating a new deal, your leverage is going to be compromised if you’re low on cash and kind of desperate to do a deal. Therefore the deals you end up doing could be compromised and/or with less desirable partners.

It’s clear now that Tim was trying to talk the SP up with recent interviews to get better value from the placing - and then shat his pants at the rate at which the SP did move. Hence the speeding ticket. I do believe though that the deals he can now do will be far more commercially rewarding.

Whilst annoying to some degree, the SP rise did allow a lot of people to top slice. LTHs position hasn’t really changed with this placing and the traders can carry on buying the lows and selling the highs.

All in all, not that bad…

Will pail into insignificance when they RNS a $15M US Government grant to support their PFS.

You have to remember it’s only last month that people were buying shares at 1.2p

It’s by no means a disaster!

I can’t see why it would “crash” given the discount isn’t huge from yesterday’s close. But unlikely to go up!

Seeing no reward in SP.

Either buyers want the deal to be made official before taking action, or;

Holding to see how money is reivested, or;

It’s a trigger happy decision.

I just don’t see it as ‘great’.

Cover your debt and short term cash requirements, yes. But going to have to go some to reinvest into something with as much potential as GMET - so why not leave it where it is?

I don’t follow POW that closely so you guys will know better. Just my thoughts.

But do they need that much cash? If I were a POW shareholder I think I’d be slightly disappointed but comforting myself that a placing is off the table.

Why now?

I know decent profit but feels like GMET wheels only just starting to turn…
