Plug Power operating in a completely different jurisdiction with different customer and investment geographies.

We should be focused on UK/EU and potentially China.

The articles I’m reading about gas storage is clearly scaremongering. The UKs gas storage capacity is a tiny proportion of overall consumption - it’s more important to look at inflows of Norwegian LNG and European storage levels. Norwegian import cargoes very healthy and EU storage is down v prior years but not to anywhere near the levels we saw when we had ‘beast from the east’

It does continue to expose our reliance upon non-domestic sources though. But in effect, nothing has changed in that regard. Click bait.

It is an interesting watch. Although prediction of Incanthera valuation is out by a good chunk even at peak levels seen through 2024 and now current valuation obviously very different.

Have to admit that I have jumped on the bandwagon yesterday in a much less research move than normal.

Any one explain why there is such a huge spread in the prices buyers/sellers are getting within seconds of each other? I can see one trade has sold at 3.01 this morning for example.

Per FCA rules, as their short position is over 0.5% of ITMs issued share capital, their position is public. You can see short positions within relevant section of this ITM/LSE page.

Therefore as they close, we will see it.

But to buy back 18m shares for Helikon to give back to the their lenders will cause a huge squeeze when regular trading volume is 1-2m per day.

Large ‘buy’ volume will naturally push the price up. Simple trading logic.

Well, the points you make are fact. There’s peanuts left, if anything.

They have to close the short, that’s a fact, and IMO have done a superb job - they’ve made a fortune. But closing the short is going to be a tricky exercise to execute, they’ll have to accept their profits will be impacted as they do so because they will increase the SP as they start closing - no question.

All eyes on 30th January. Any sniff of an upgrade on any key metric (mainly cash) and I think they’ll be forced into becoming active in closing the short.

I actually only learnt how to filter this week so feeling energised that I won’t have to read responses for JM, LL, JZ and RS.

It’ll take more volume than this, I think.

However I’ve given up trying to link logic and rationale to ITM SP movements!

Might be old news for this board but with all the filters and 100s of notifications, I don’t see everything.

None of you make any impact on the market and the success or failure of this business will have nothing to do with any of you. Nobody is making investment decisions as a result of this board or your contributions - any if they were they were mental but they certainly won’t anymore when every time they come on they 50+ notifications from you bunch of clowns throwing vitriol and opposing bias views back and forth.

Let 2025 be a reset and let this board get back to the way it was. A peace treaty?

It always blows my mind that you see an RNS like that and then see ‘sell’ transactions going through. Like who is reading that and going “yeah, think I’ll bin some stock”

Jeff that’s a nice summary.

Your point ref Dennis…his job is to create shareholder value. He has a long way to go just to get it back to where it was when he took over. I think I’m in the camp that’s he’s got it under control and we will see long term value growth…but I won’t be lauding him just yet.

What do I expect them to do?

Their job. Get people buying, and not selling to a point where SP is near enough down on the back of a very positive RNS. I get they can’t change market sentiment.
