TheRealDeal2023 toddle on or stick to EZJ conversation? He says after posting a load of irrelevant turdwash about israel being a democracy. Really, what a load of tosh and nonsense. As i said before you must be deluded or clueless. Jog on..
TheRealDeal2024 either you are totally deluded or clueless to reality. Either way i dont think you should be trusted to provide any meaningful advice on this board. What other democracy do you know about that arrests young children and tortures them using dogs and threats. Where a child throwing a stone is locked up for a minimum of 3 months. It has been well documented that israel arrests and tortures children as part of its interrogation process to extract information from them. This is only one example in a long line of opressive actions that are carried out towards Palestinians and against human rights and international law. Should i mention illegal settlements and the attrocities in gaza where the vast majority of those who have died are woman and children, where over half of the population is under 15 years old. Make sure you get your facts straight before posting nonsense about israel being a democracy
Ezj is run by an excellent management team who consistently delivered strong performance and know their industry well..they are forward looking and strategic in their approach. Id rather follow their guidance than a couple of "analysts" who seem to only try and fit a narrative to the price movement rather than study the industry and company financials, strategy etc. These same analysts have been telling us all year how the cost of living and inflation would be doom and gloom for the industry. Instead we've seen bumper performance. I know who id rather believe..
Interesting analysis placing ezj ahead
https://www.fool.co.uk/2023/10/03/wizz-air-vs-easyjet-shares-which-is-the-better-buy/
The low-cost airline expects full-year 2024 capacity to increase at least 10%, with growth targeted at the most profitable routes.
Alexander Paterson, an analyst at Peel Hunt, expects the recent oil price increase to mitigate possibly robust trading but has still reiterated his ‘buy’ recommendation.
“We see the enhanced revenue management, fleet upgauging and tight industry capacity as very positive for the next four to five years,” he said.

On the cost of living argument and whether this will impact ezj i really dont think so for the following reasons. 1. People budget for holidays saving a little each month rather than spalshing out thousands in one go. 2024 summer bookings for jet2 already 11% higher than 2023. 2. If you go out on a friday night or weekend you see restaurants are heaving as well as most entertainment venues, doesnt look like people spending hundreds on a night out are short or £50 for an ezj flight. 3. Many people have negotiated pay increases including the public sector. 4. Latest figures show that inflation is starting to ease and interest rates at their peak, pointing to a soft landing. 5. People still working from home and saving on commuting expenses.
All of the evidence indicates that people are prioritising travel and holidays and are trading down from expensive options more affordable. This is right in ezj sweet spot.
Just read Jet2 trading update this morning..positive performance and interestingly summer 2024 bookings already 11% ahead of 2023. Seems people are continuing to book holidays and travel with many budgeting months in advance. Strong momentum overall and expect ezj to announce similar.
Interesting analysis on expected airline sector consolidation and positive impact for ezj investors..

Investors dont care much about negative reviews when they amount to a relatively small number of unrealistic customers complaining that ezj didnt send a personal jet to pick them up in return for a £50 seat fee in some cases! Thats not how successful businesses operate. Unfortunately some people like nutmilk expect airlines to move mountains when they are facing some inconvenience resulting from issues outside their control or fault - spending millions just to pamper their convenience. Having said this, per one of the previous posts, ezj fly millions of customers and most are happy with the service and very happy with the price ie most have realistic expectations of their airline and thats why they continue to fly with ezj in increasing volumes.
Just in case anyone missed this analysis from morningstar..

People will keep flying, they are trading down from expensive to cheaper and we know that ezj has room to lower prices (heavily invested in automation and cost reduction plus fuel is hedged) even though they still offer over 50% of fares at less than £50. Its the same pattern weve seen with supermarkets johnewis and m&s are worse off bu aldi flies ahead.
Per the bbc article earlier, key point to note is that in addition to the record numbers of people looking to getaway before schools return, there are an increasing number booking into autumn and later which should extend the peak booking season for ezj compared to previous years
Nutmilk - the only crap and lies being posted here is from you. Youve been asked nicely to go away as no one is interested in your posts. Eg you posted something a few days ago about a pratt and whitney engine contamination on airbus a320neo. But you failed to say that ezj dont use these engines on the a320neo..they use CFM LEAP-1A engines which is a competitor engine and unaffected..also that the contamination is not a saftey issue. You have no credibility in what you post and it is proven that you are posting lies and crap as you put it.
