I also take it you are obviously assuming that if France, Italy and others held a referendum, as may well be the right of their electorate, they too would show "respect" ie, in your particular scenario vote for the same old same old.

Nobody is interested in that. They want more houses, it takes more money out of the workers control, as they buy the houses or pay through the nose to rent them, giving more money to banks and government, they get more rates from more houses, making more money while cutting services.

We get less and less all the time while "they" (the organisations and land owners) get more and more for less and less....
