In my opinion will be after Glencore have acquired 30bn+ shares in the next placing. In a few weeks or so. End of June / early July.

That's pretty much certain Santiago, a placing is imminent - but, in my opinion, there will also be more involvement from Glencore now - suspect they'll be acquiring a lot of the shares very shortly, and will probably be involved in the selection of the next CEO etc. So the dilution will be minimal at this stage, and then there will be a massive increase in SP over the course of the summer months. Personally, I don't want to miss that boat when it happens! If you look at Glencore, they've been doing share buy backs over recent days - they have cash ready to invest. It's about to happen.

Yep, just topped up today.... things will develop with Glencore now, and this is the reason why after the AGM yesterday there wasn't much movement in the share price, not as much as you'd typically expect from the resolutions passed at the AGM anyway. Not sure I have a clan! (my wife is Scottish, so I guess I tag onto that clan) - but GLA - we're all buckling in for the next few months hopefully.... Happy Friday. A

The market knows that there is some very positive news due shortly - which will more than offset any dilution... I think the share price has just about bottomed out... GLA DYOR, but this will be an absolute belter before the end of the summer... load up.

Yeah, at the end of the day it is indeed... day traders.... the initial reaction was positive though, it went up right after the AGM. Good signs.

I think all the resolutions will be passed at this AGM, but a very positive RNS is also likely in the very near future...

No I'm not shorting - I'm in for the long term

Jaglith, not specifically no, more the general rumblings and the news that's imminent - hence the use of the word "brewing" - I'm referring to the future rather than the present - when investing, that's what I try to do - the future is way more important than the present / past. GLA

But something positive is definitely brewing here....

My hunch is that the drilling permits will be approved by DEMIRS before the shares are trading again (they're fairly imminent) - so will be a massive bounce in the share price once trading commences!

*maybe 4 months is the standard requirement. I hadn't quite appreciated that previously

Anyone know why GEX is caught by this 4 month rule to file their financial statements? Other listed companies don't have such a tight timeframe. Four months does seem incredibly tight to go through year end, and then arrange an audit etc.

Suspect suspension will be closer to just a couple of weeks rather than the whole month... they said "by the end of June" just to manage expectations etc.... not long at all, 10-12 trading days.... and during that time other workstreams will still be progressing... GLA

I wouldn't be too surprised if we see another couple of million shares bought today - this is totally the ripe time to buy if you have some spare money available... market cap is under £8m and this is a ridiculous opportunity that doesn't come around too often. Clearly there is some risk, but the risk versus reward profile is just crazy... GLA DYOR

Our friend with the 2 share sales each day (a number of times each day!) is going to suffer panic attacks over the next month if they're unable to trade!! Hopefully they pick up another more healthy hobby!
