I think it will be the 8th/9th September when the next results drop and what an update that one will be - perhaps with a bow wrapped PFS as well??

14 weeks to the next quarterly on October 28th so I'm thinking 7 weeks to the interims this time.

As others have said - I'm more than happy with the results - 14 holes reported with every one hitting mineralisation.
15 more sets of drills in the assay labs including 4 from the Eastern breccia - looking forward to them.
Goliath, Outamind & Los Diablos all completed and waiting for assays too - Black Hills & Parlay being drilled

All in all - happy as the proverbial sandboy.

Quiet board this morning - everyone saving themselves for tomorrow lol.

The latest radar image is available on the Sentinel website this morning - around Havieron it seems to be pretty much as you were apart from a pretty intense new signal to the east between the two sets of sand-dunes - it shows as a big square purple signal on my screen. We did notice new activity in that area on the day image from Monday - could possibly be targeting the deeper sections of the SE crescent or the Northern breccias.

Moving over to Black Hills - the pads at Parlay seem to have gone dark but there is definitely a signature up in the Saddle Reefs area where I spotted a tell-tale black sump on the day image - looking forward to seeing what they turn up there.

Love the graphic on page no.9 which shows the average ounces per vertical metre and how it relates to the amount of drilling done at that particular depth. You can clearly see that where there is a higher density of drilling the OPVM is much higher. But we know that some of the best drills to date have come from below the 600m level recently - how will it look when the drilling at those depths resembles the densities at the lower depths.

Loads & loads more to come from Havieron - and this is only in the SE Crescent area, massive, massive, massive.

Havieron only starts at 400m because the permian cover is 400m deep there. At Black Hills the protozeroic rocks actually outcrop at surface and nuggets and rock chips were collected that showed high grade ore was present at shallow depths there.

They wouldn't spend needlessly and drill deep unless there was a compelling reason to do so - gives me confidence if they are testing to depth now.

Just had a quick look and there is a lot of new activity about 3km due west of the Black Hills area - I can count about 8 drill pads there - obviously part of the NCM / Antipa Wilki JV.

We seem to be concentrating on the Saddle Reefs area where we had the drill results from 2019 - looks to me like they are going deeper in the same area again - fingers crossed emoji.

Let's wait and see exactly what he has in store for us - I for one am looking forward to immensely.

Did a quick search last night and managed to find and download a martu - wangka dictionary.

From what I can see the martu have multiple local dialects and the wanga version is almost like a standard format that tries to standardise the words into a universal language that can be understood by all. I know it's very similar back home in Ireland where Gaelic is slightly different in the various Irish speaking regions but there is a standardised version that is taught in the schools.

Anyway from the dictionary if the word is split in two you get "Karla" which indeed translates to "Fire" and "Jartu" which translates to "Yandy Dish".

According to Google a "Yandy Dish" is a special shallow dish used to separate (grain or pieces of mineral) by shaking - sounds a bit like a pan that might be used to pan for gold.

Reading too much into it IMO - we will be a junior partner with the likes of Byrnecut, MacMahon and various other contractors who will all be involved with Havieron for many decades to come.
Newcrest will run and manage the site so it makes perfect sense for them to be the "face" of Havieron - I'm more than happy to be the minority partner and snaffle away 25% of the profits for the next 40-50 years.

Hi TT - we should have plenty of news in the near term on the Juri JV. We know they have completed initial scout drilling at Goliath, Outamind & Los Diablos - probably 2-3 holes in each of those targets.

They are currently on site at Parlay and Saddle Reefs at Black Hills.

We know they must have a program in place for Scallywag from Shaun's comment that they decided not to release the rig to Scallywag as it was moving through a good spot in the Havieron ore-body.

All-in-all there is going to be a feast of news coming through to us in the second half of this year.

Interesting that they should be looking to appoint somebody into this role as we are getting closer to the business end of getting the Havieron ore into the mill at Telfer.

Sandeep has got the smoke machine on full pelt over Havieron & Black Hills today so nothing useful to see on the Sentinel satellite.

As far as the decline goes I received an answer on the 16th June when I emailed the company and asked about the progress. This is a verbatim line from the email

"Decline progress is moving as planned. Weekly advancement rates for the decline start in a modest fashion but speed up once the upper parts are complete."

If they have done 310m roughly in the 2 months since they started it's entirely possible that the portal and the start could have taken quite a portion of that and the majority of the progress has been in month 2. We need to let them settle in for another couple of months to see how they carry on IMO.

Nice find @Hopefullygold - so according to the Byrnecut website they are achieving 154m / month and as they are 2 months into the decline construction they should be at about 310m or about halfway to the top of the spiral section. That's where the first vent raise from the surface will meet up with the decline so no surprise that we are starting to see activity on the surface in that area where they will be preparing the foundations for the bore-raising machine.

154m / month seems a little low but that's probably down to the initial start of the portal and the fact that they will need to reinforce the tunnel as they start through the softer sections of the Permian ground. As they dig deeper the speed should increase as the rock gets harder and becomes more self-supporting.

Nice list of all the equipment that they are using on the project too.
