Piedmont have done great getting the US$141m towards the US$600m plant. A huge well done to them and it looks like they're well on their way to financing things. As I said, 'it would be easier' for them if... etc.

As you point out, Piedmont have an off take agreement with Sayona whereby they obtain 113kt of spod. con.

If you look at page 8 of Piedmont's presentation at the bottom they talk about a Quebec Lithium Hydroxide plant (UNDER CONSIDERATION). Maybe they'd prefer to use that 113kt of spod con from Sayona to build another hydroxide plant, rather than ship it to Tennessee? That would mean they would need to find the feedstock for the Tennessee hydroxide plant from somewhere else, since they have 127,500tpa from Ewoyaa but need 197,000tpa.

Maybe they just make a smaller hydroxide plant?....

I understand your thinking.

At the same time, our CONTROL of Ewoyaa through development and mine operation is crucial. As you point out, production helps us economically. But scaling up quickly is not without its risks, even with a relatively simple project like ours. That might suit Piedmont's timeline for the Tennessee hydroxide plant but is not our main concern. I'd rather deliver a robust project on time rather than rush things. The economics will still be remarkable at today's lithium prices.

Piedmont appear to be a good partner and have done great getting the grant from the US government but we CONTROL the speed of development (subject to mine permitting) and project scale. Vince really did well maintaining this.

At some stage Piedmont will have to raise the financing for their US$600m Tennessee Hydroxide plant. It would probably be easier to do this if they can demonstrate they have CONTROL of the timeline and have secured 100% of their required feedstock from one source with good specifications.

Yes, that is interesting and it would certainly fit Piedmont's needs.

However, since ATLANTIC LITHIUM have CONTROL, what about OUR needs?

Would it not be better for us to take our time and make sure that the mine works robustly at 255,000 tpy? After all, we have CONTROL of this and have the other 50% product unencumbered by off-take which we can sell on the best terms we can find. Why rush things. A larger plant could be done slower at phase 2 and any extra capex funded from cashflow. We have no need to rush! Surely?

Notice at the bottom of the page it says:

"2024: Ghana – spodumene concentrate production at Ewoyaa
2025: Tennessee Lithium – lithium hydroxide production from spodumene concentrate sourced from our international investments"

On Piedmont's presentation (p12) it says that feedstock of 196,000 tpy (SC6) is needed. Piedmont's 50% off-take from Ewoyaa would be 127,500 tpy. Leaving them short of the full annual feedstock. Piedmont could look elsewhere for the shortfall of feedstock but Lithium Hydroxide conversion is a challenging task and I believe (but I'm not entirely sure) that it would be much more attractive for Piedmont to take their feedstock from one source (since each source has differing specifications).

Also, as Len pointed out last week, Atlantic Lithium maintains CONTROL throughout the development and operation of Ewoyaa.

One of the most interesting things that I learnt from the investor presentation was discussed at about 8 minutes and 18 seconds onwards.

When I go on google finance it says that Atlantic Lithium (London Listing) has a market capitalisation of £411mln. Isn't this an error? I think this has been like this since the Australian listing started.

The presentation on Atlantic Lithium's website (page 4) says we have a market cap of £205m / AUD$381m (34p/63c).

I think google finance has got this wrong?

It's important that people don't think that out market capitalisation is POUNDS STERLING411MILLION.

I've clicked on the 'Send Feedback' button at the bottom of the Google Finance page. It might be worth others doing the same to make sure they get the correct market capitalisation for our London Listing.

Too right, Albemarle, Mineral Resources and Pilbara are insulated. They're making remarkable amounts of CASH because the sector has gone off like a scolded cat.

Core Lithium has had a big seller AND raised AUD$100m and they're doing okay. Check out SIGMA LITHIUM 5 year chart. It's eye watering.

Over at Atlanticsville it's like tumbleweed! And that's after a great PFS and great infill drilling. What gives?

Some interesting points you make.

However, I disagree with this comment, "I think pretty much all lithium companies have come off from highs as investors have taken profits off the table." Have a look at a 5 year chart of ALBEMARLE, PILBARA MINERALS or MINERAL RESOURCES. They look at or near all time highs to me.

I continue to wonder if management are getting the message across? I'm still wondering if too much management time and money has been spent on listing in Australia?

Yes, Piedmont Lithium management have done very well getting this grant. Well done to them. Their Hydroxide plant becomes more of a reality.

For our 50% of Ewoyaa 127,500 tonnes of 6.0% spod con. would generate US$5,586/dmt - US$278 C1 cash costs = US$5,308 * 127,500 = US$676 million of operating cashflow per annum based on the PFS and this operation could be up and running in 24 months.

Why is our market cap at about US$220mln?

Wow! bankruptcy, remarkable movements in the US. And yes, 'sigh' hopefully one day for us.

Page 7 is all about the ASX listing. I wished they'd focus on the asset and give the ASX listing stuff a break. I'm thoroughly underwhelmed with the ASX listing. These listings cost money. Money that could have been spent on drilling.

On Page 7: "Benefits for dual listing: Point 4: Increased liquidity to overcome potential mispricing in a relatively less liquid market"

Groan.

Come on. Let's get back to focussing on the asset!

I just saw on LinkedIn that Atlantic Lithium have posted about attending 121 Mining Investment Sydney this Wednesday and Thursday "to provide an update on our industry-leading Ewoyaa Lithium project."

I do hope that they we have a drill update ahead of that! I'm getting fed-up with this share price! LOL!

Elon Musk did an interview with the FT which was published on Friday.

Also, check out the chart of Pilbara Minerals. So, really I'm disappointed that our share price is down here. I wasn't convinced that listing on the ASX was worthwhile before and I'm still not convinced now.

Disappointing considering we're hard-rock spodumene (not brine, clay, DLE, lepidolite, petaline etc), great grade, open pit, simple processing, most of the capex covered by Piedmont, PFS published and about 24 months out from production.

What gives?
