A couple of possibilities to consider.

a) We suspect (know but can't prove) that Glencore are a keen seller, but only for a good price. In their place you would want to set up an informal auction to get the best price. Say Baowu / RTZ vs. Saudi / Vale as the best bidders with sufficient resources to buy ??

b) The new "mole" port leads to questions about the best exit route for Ore (and/or possible Pellets) hence the new study regarding costs etc.

c) Given a) and b) above you might want your new study to consider futher expansions also (say to 60 million and to 90 million)??

When ALBi says anything (and repeats it multiple times), when he contradicts himself, when he is rude to posters that don’t share his views, when he claims to have bought the shares that others have purchased, etc. I’m reminded of the Oscar Wilde quote:

Take the latest suggestion that Kore will place additional shares at a 50% discount. Leaving aside that (as LT has calculated) Kore will not need to raise funds until 2024. We know that any placing would go to the key shareholders (who own 46% of the shares and have deep pockets) say 10% more shares @ 20% discount giving the firm > £2.0 million.

A large discount would only apply to shares that have no backing from large shareholders. See GCM for example. Friendless, at 3p in April. Recently at 4.5p on 8 June (after much positive speculation - ramping?), issued 10% more shares at 2.5p (40% discount).

What matters is the price in Brazil's Spring our Autumn !

Forget about $372 or $1,200. What matters is the Potash price in the Autumn in Brazil. For the past two years, prices in the Autumn have been high ($ 700 End Sept 2021, $ 825 End Sept 2022) so demand was poor. I'm anticipating prices rising as Brazilian farmers start to buy, but they won't reach the heights of the last two years. What odds > $600 ??

These prices are at the port in Vancouver port Canada (for export) and mirror the experience COB Brazil. The price has little meaning in the scheme of things. Better too look at the US experience (because they are huge importers of Potash) where prices have fallen by about 30% since last year but are currently above $600. Prospects short term depend on the expectations for crop prices later in the year (which are good apparently) so expect prices to rise in the US (but not in a spectacular way).

In 4-6 months the Brazillian farmers, will be prepared to buy Potash at prices that reflect the economics of their business (i.e. based on prices they expect to sell their crops at).
