RE: Potash Price6 Feb 2025 08:20
When valuing Kore Potash most of the value will be in the Kola Project. But there will be value also in the other / later projects also. There will be little value in DX as it (as currently planned) is not commercial at $300 Potash.
The Kola Project mines Sylvinite as it is rich in Potash [KCl] (about 35%) the remainder is common Salt [NaCl] (which is saleable) and a small amount of insoluble waste. The resource is 848 Mt of Sylvinite. Kore has vast amounts of Carnallite also (e.g. there is 2,049 Mt at Kola @ 18.5% Potash in seams underneath the Sylvinite layer).
The problem with Carnallite is the low % of Potash the remainder is currently unsalable waste. Emmerson (EML) has developed a way of utilising the waste from Carnallite (which is high in Magnesium), together with Phosphate and Ammonia to produce a valuable (and slow release) fertilizer product Struvite (Magnesium Ammonium Phosphate). See Emmerson (EML) RNS 1 Feb 2024.
So the Emmerson KMP (Khemisset Multi-mineral Process) transforms the economics of, and hence the value of, Carnallite, of which Kore has a very large supply.
