Hi BA, Gold was one of the drivers behind me buying into lion. Their different take added something to my portfolio. I hold about 20% in gold (via an ETF) and various shares and fully expect the USD price influence to reduce in 2019/2020.

Gold as a store of value will be huge during the next 10 years imho so being able to spend it easy is a key in that. So yes the price and macro factors are pretty key to driving people towards Gold and Lion.

I have been adding to me gold holdings as well as topping on the gold miners shares I own for a few weeks now. Been painful at times but investing is not for the short term and the markets will blow off sometime in next 6/12 months imo

Wow some people really are obsessed with this share, and there he is, troll no 1. Sea7, back as if by magic. Odd that.

Anyway, I have been getting on with my adult life but for the purposes of balance it does look like Sea7, Big D or whatever else he goes by was correct on the face of it. 6 months to relist or kicked of AIM.

Sea7 do you reallly think I or most other posters care what you think, you have proven yourself time and time to be paid troll, probably by GLINT, so if I am wrong once that does not give you any right to claim any moral high ground. And yes I will continue to report any posts I believe are poor quality deramping (as most of yours are).

So, that point accepted, once LION relists all these silly trolls will need to move onto something else. Because when you break it all down there is no sense whatsoever in debating what might happen because none of us know. Although some posters only ever seem to want to spout negative stuff in the name of being balanced, yeah right.. More like to collect the pay cheque.

There has been so many half truths and poor posts on here by the same posters, some of which I have called out, it is a disgrace. Does that make me a ramper, if you say so. I would prefer to say I am positive on the LION story and because I get fed up with the paid trolls coming on here trying to drop poison I try and put a different perspective.

No, a company that delists from AIM would not need to go into administration it would simply become a private limited company (making the shares harder to trade).

That said, LION have confirmed they have resisted so not sure why all the pointless noise on here.

I am a shareholder of my own limited company. A shareholder is still a shareholder.

Like I said investing money is a personal choice and comes with risks. Every day businesses fail or get downgraded because of bad outcomes from rationale decisions made by the directors. In most instances the decision was made based on logical assumptions (such as believing what you are doing is within the rules of AIM). Outcomes though can more often than not be unexpected.

I am sure past shareholders of HoF, Woolworths, Blockbusters, BHS, Carillion, etc... are angry about the outcomes of some of the decisions their directors made, however, I also don’t think the directors set out to make bad decisions.

Like I said ultimately shareholders have to accept the outcomes of the decisions their directors make if they choose to invest their money. Does not mean they have to like them but bleating on day after day about them is just borderline childish. I think many on here are really not suited to investing in company shares and should stick to cash or index trackers in the future.

Not sure how many of you run a business but it is not the easiest thing to do and most in the end fail or get taking over. For those on here who throw stones at anything for a bit of sport or to vent their frustrations because they have trading money tied up you should judge your own decision success rate not others. You paid your money to play in the AIM casino and you need to be grown up enough to accept any loss is down to you not bad outcomes from decisions CP makes..

CP and crew will have no intentions of failing and as Woody said they will be doing their best to make LION a success. Great if they do but it is not guaranteed and will not be through lack of effort.. Failure might just come because of bad luck with the price of gold, which nobody could have predicted would continue to fall this far, or a financial meltdown caused by an emerging market currency failure, or a multitude of other black swans.

Yes they messed up and fell foul of AIM rules, but not on purpose. And for me that has been a spot of good luck as it allows the company to focus on building a business.. that just goes to show how many variables businesses face every day.

No idea why I bother posting though as I suspect it will get drowned out by the usual “don’t trust CP” or “I could have done it better” posts that the same people feel the need to post day after day.

Bought a few more CEY today but not expecting great things until December. the gold bulls are expecting the usual September rally but I think until the US mid terms are done the USD and stock markets will stay strong, boosted by the expected September US rate hike and more great (tax rebate funded) Q3 earnings..

The fun will begin in late November/December IMO when another rate hike will cause mass pain in one or more of the emerging market currencies and weaker Euro countries and the contagion will spread globally like wild fire. This will make the current Turkey issue look like a kindergarten party.

If you don’t mind short term pain now is a great time to top up on gold mining shares and look forward to a bumper 2019.. Personally though I think gold will see $1150 or even $1100 in the near term.

Don’t need a lawyer, just need to submit the correct probable forms, start with PA1 and go from there https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-for-probate-form-pa1. Grant of Probabe (grant of representation if no will) is given once Probate office and HMRC sign off. You (or the executor if not you) are then free to distribute the assets to the estate as per will or rules of intestacy

It really is down to HMRC at the end of the day, and even then only they will only do so if there is some IHT to claim. CGT dies on death so would only affect things if caused an IHT liability.

An executor has the duty to complete probate forms to the best of their knowledge. I would say the last quoted price would be classed as best of your knowledge. The shares had been bumping around 2.4/3 for a few weeks before delisting so 2.65 seems fair. You have no idea what the SP will be on relist so going with 2.65, based on last known price, would be my suggestion. Not sure what basis HMRC could challenge that. I think if you tried to claim zero value or something lower than SP at suspension you would need a very good reason why.
