Sorry, should read Maitland not Mencore.Loosin it.
allways winning."Branson's best mate Laffin boy, Mr Northern Rock himself is the most dubious and suspect PoS here.
Dont forget Andy Donald at Mancore,he was involved with the Northern Rock debacle,It's like a school reunion here.
Always winning. You have got it in one. There is conflict between posters on this board,be them holders or not.but this is all about justice, and the ethics of the BOD..
Pianista. There is nothing specific, all I know is that at this time the I's have not been dotted, nor the T's crossed. When that happens I will hold my hands up and admit defeat, but at this moment that is not the case.

Tav.See post from Mitch984 1058hrs today.Quoted there.
So,and i appreciate what your view is,you agree that even though it may be very slight, one or both of the parties could still "walk away."Your comment regarding false information is duly noted, isn't false information a big point on this board,ie it's been given to us,why not keep giving it out, after all we do seem to be getting away with it.Just my view.
" Why would it not be.".That is not an answear,That is a question to a Question.
Is it legally binding at this time?
Is the DEAL making it a shell signed.
With Hoskings and Mr Tinklers holdings,Plus PI support,IMO,Mr Kohn would have more than 40%.PI in total must own near enough 40%.
YoungLee.putting it in a nutshell,Connect are giving us a bigger Bung than Mr Tinkler.

Just a question. The company has approx 216m shares. How many/what percentage are held by the big investors. Are these big investors all prepared to loose money at 1p per share.
Woodstock. This week could be interesting.IMO the brokers could be turning our way. They realise their initial fob responces are not working, and many holders are requesting escalation. They are not daft, they cannot push this under the carpet,so they have to try and save face, and decide which side of the fence (covering one's rear end) they are on.Basically,HOW do we get out of this with as little flak as possible, and keep our reutation as intact as possible.
Pianista."Yes, Connect could probably pull out by engineering the non-satisfaction of a condition precedent, eg deliberately failing to agree a pension funding schedule."
How many times have we all read the doom and and gloom merchants on this board Say "the deal is done,OTHER THAN A FEW LITTLE CONDITIONS"
Skywalker, the article mentioned 1350 staff,my guess is there are only 2000 staff all told,of those how many are chanel islands based
Ironic.Over the past few weeks you and I have had what could be called heated discussions on this board. We have had different views, and wrightly or wrongly, both stuck to our own principles.Having said that your last post sums it all up,and I agree with you 100%.That is not to say we may not be at loggerheads in the future. But at this moment in time, well said.
eviking.Agreed.Just today we have,Pensions,Mr Tinkler counter offer, excesive cash burn, and it's not even noon yet.
There is sooooooooooo Muchhhhhhhhhhh, going on/ has gone on,that we have not got a clue about. Will it ever come out,who knows.Hopefully yes.If it does will it be to late, again who knows.
Eviking.Agree.But I seem to be a one off.HL and numeous other brokers, could easily confirm the same, why don't they, and get off the hook.
