Yeah U69 I agree but it will become clear in time imo. Lewis think I may have got the THC % thing wrong.. can only think I was confused because of this RNS which stated THC got the gov’s 15% and didn’t really mention Redcorp as owner. What I mean is.. Ascendant can increase stake in Redcorp to 80%. Not THC.

I could well have gotten that wrong Lewis. But Ascendant bought into Redcorp not THC. Going to have to go back now through news and see why my foggy brain thinks Redcorp (which THC owned 100% of) had 85% of LS. I could be mistaken so again.. clarity needed for every one!!

Haha agree mate.. well, there is a NAV update due over next month or two which will clear things up. Considering the company has always been quick to state that their investment into THC was written in at cost (which was about $500-600k I think, someone correct me if wrong) then it's a given that it will increase substantially at the next update with the value placed on it by Ascendant Resources buying in. Remember that Ascendant Resources only bought into Recorp, which was wholly owned by THC.. THC still retain a chunk of LS independent of Redcorp. Thus MAFL own 49% of that chunk outright. I think is the 15% from the Portuguese Gov. Again someone correct me if I am wron, not ramp intended. It's a complex structure which needs a layman's explanation. But I have a hunch that something is coming for that, just from words said.. something on the horizon re THC and MAFL.

Bits of great news can we have yet still trade under working capital and assets value? Surely the market realises now, even without this asset being rapidly expanding that the NAV is going to rocket on the next update?

Perfectly reasonable questions from you both. I think there’s more clarity needed on the THC deal, I’ve got a hunch that there’s more info on the way, but yeah a bit of communication now wouldn’t go amiss.

Yeah haha.. but Ascendant aren't hanging around, so I would expect some news on drills sooner rather than later if they want it all done and dusted by end of year. This company has the funds to get on with the job, and it's no beyond the realms of possibility that they could double or treble the perceived value of LS in the next 3 months. The market needs to wake up, MAFL still owns a mighty chunk of this right now.

News from MAFL is quiet, seems like the new owner is already drilling and will have substantially expanded Lagoa Salgada by the end of the year. Nothing is set in stone, this is AIM! but not sure Ceo would like to dilute his substantial holding down at these prices when they have circa 2.6 mill in working capital that can be accessed easily enough if they liquidate a position or two. Not like they "need" cash at the moment on the tiny running costs.
