Mines department valued bhukia at 1.3 lakh crore which I convert to be $15.5billion?

An upfront payment of 100 crore was given to India due a fortnight after the sale. That’s £1billion right? Or am I missing something here?

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the news flow post rat? Provided it goes our way.

1. Offtake $75-100m, has it been mentioned why this hasn’t been finalised before rat or are they planning a takeover instead based on a successful outcome? News could come days or weeks after.

2. MIF investment. Again I’d imagine this news will be finalised shortly after ratification.

3. Piedmont FID. now the operating & environmental license is in place rats the final piece of the puzzle for this, last I checked they only had around $50m in cash, are we going to want to sit around waiting for them to resubmit their loan application since they’re supposed to be funding the first $70 odd million before we start breaking ground?

4. Assore breach 30%. This will be January time if they do, they really have a strong hand here. As I said before 60p for them would be £280m, for anyone else it would be £390m roughly but would assore accept the offer? How much money do they have?

Very pivotal couple of months ahead, a lot of trading opportunities if you’ve got the b*lls.

At 0.60p theyd have to pay out £285,000,000 for the remaining shares they don’t own. Bargain for a project with an NPV of £1.1b and a growing resource… im here for a buyout now to be honest, been here a long time. Whoever the offtaker is could throw a spanner in and cause a bidding war, hopefully. Fingers crossed for ratification this month. Good luck everyone.

We need rat this October otherwise we’re gonna be in single digits. Then I’m hoping assore table another offer or even the offtaker because at this value why not just buy the whole lot?

Less shares held on AIM, long term Ghanaian shareholders and pension funds picking them up instead of manipulating traders hopefully.

Len holds 3m shares, interesting to see if he sells any. I feel there’s a buy out coming as soon as we get ratification which is why he’s gone for a new opportunity.IMO

I think he was being conservative by saying Q3, there has been a couple of dates banded around by Amanda I think it was maybe she was getting excited that have passed at least this way we avoid disappointment..

Directors can’t buy when they know price sensitive information, I’d suggest it just means there’s probably no news for a week or two still. Hopefully no delays to ratification, it was due to be handed over to parliament recently wasn’t it?

£234m’s a bit of spare change then! Considering the return on the investment, easily worth 50p to them once ratification and environment approval is given as its completely derisked for them. Piedmont FID still lingering in my mind as that’s the final piece for us in terms of de risking (after offtake which seems a certainty)

Can’t see another bid coming until ratification and Ghana listing. Major de risking events. A bid of 50p would cost assore £234m, anyone know what they’re actually worth?

Surely they’d be obligated to at least mention they’ve had a response for India?
