Today's announcement signals the end of the overhang created by the expectation that Wizard would further reduce its stake. Positive news as institutions have been able to wait and acquire Micro shares at a discount to the prevailing price. Without the incentive to 'wait and buy' I see the end of Wizard's involvement as justification for the sp to rise.

At last we have some strengthening of the BoD. Strange that the outgoing CE is praised for his "considerable contribution" when "considerable value destruction" appears closer to the truth.

Based on today's positive statement, I've upped my sp forecast from 360p to 385p. That is not a recommendation to purchase as, always, DYOR.

Last report from company stated that 2p divi would be recommended at AGM. My expectation is that, if approved, it will paid in Q416.

In the absence of other reasons, this appears to be a reaction to the news about Austin Reed and BHS. Frankly that seems a perverse reaction given that Moss has a strong and growing econmerce arm, has what looks like firm grasp of customer segments (unlike AR who are seen as having an old and diminishing customer base) and has a credible management team.

Looks like, based on today's share purchases, that I'm not the only one expecting the next results announcement to be very positive.

Mixed bag today although increase in divi and Board's confidence about the future are positive. Edison have revised their target to 197p so still plenty of upside.

I'm mystified as to why the sp is so far adrift of the cash value. Looks like I will have to get to grips with the report. Further message to follow.......

Positive results commented on in several media reports including London Evening Standard and IC's website. Expect further favourable reports to follow, including the expected endorsement of ST in IC. All in all today's sp increase may be the start of a strong upward trend.

What's not to like in today's results announcement. Well pleased.

May be a reflection of the general doom and gloom about retailers. Next and Sports Direct being a couple of examples. Personally I'm still confident about Moss, given its market position and mix. Looking forward to Tuesday,.......
