The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Just been reading through those final results, looks like it's a case of if the FD is honourable then there seems to be 4.7 mil to be returned to shareholders, i make that 2.3p a share of cash against a current price of 1p to buy, the price reflects the risks i guess of not seeing all of that money and indeed getting a payment of any of that money, but i cannot see why the money wont be returned especially with a big shareholder like Evol holding so much stock, they seemed to state they were looking for a new direction in their results so i guess they will be pressing for a return of this money because it's over 2 million to them so this might be a good gamble, what do others think ?
Long have you been trading for then mtuk1, and you dont think any of this stock will hit the market :-))
Yep those 1p placing shares are coming to the market so it's never gona trade at 4p with them around until they find new homes
A mm fell asleep and hit a button...3.75-3p ???...rns ?
Big jump today from 23.6p bid to a current 26.05p bid online, simply no stock out there to buy, it's just 2500 at 28p which hardly seems worth the bother although somebody did exactly that earlier.
OK 25k is not a fortune but on that spread it's a bold buy, needs a 20% rise to break even but i'm sure it will come.
Watching this stock, it would seem a seller has total priority in getting a fair price but anybody else wont currently, each time i put a dummy sale in of 10k i get rejected despite the buys being 3p higher than the bid price, seems the seller has a deal to get 23p as their trade seems to match the days buying each day and shows delayed from after 4pm the same as yesterday, any idea who the seller might be at such a low price, tempted but spread is poor currently at 21-24p.
Larger than most, i say it's a buy because no way in this market would a sell in this get mid price.
Quite simply there is a massive buy order in the system and the mm's will force the price down to try and fill it, it's impossible to buy any stock currently unless you pay a premium, you can still sell 100k above the mid price and they will use any sale to try and get the price down to flush out more sellers to fill the order.
23-24.5p, sell 100,000 at 23.8p or buy 500 at 24.5p, basically all the mm's are buyers, there is no stock to buy, you will have to pay a premium to go over the NMS and because of this they drop the offer but refuse to let you get any size hoping to flush out some bigger sellers
Market cap of 1 mil, cash of around 0.75 mil, deferred payments of 2 mil to come from the recent sale, debt free, existing business struggling but seems pretty cheap at these levels.
Would not let me buy 5k at 24p, mm on offer is a heavy buyer trying to hold the price down to fill a huge order, now 23.6p bid for 100,000, this is a massive number for Pim, could be aryesta in the market at these lower prices ?
extremely short of stock because you can sell 100k online at 23.5p mid price
No wonder they were happy to buy up all those sells and give them a nice premium on that spread because larger buyers were paying premiums not to mention last weeks big premium. Think this has a good bounce in it at some point but right now the mm's are determined to force it down.
That makes a change thesedays, i might have timed one right at last.
Rosh is certainly showing his true colours by trying to ramp a multi million pound corporation on a decimal stock thread worth less than half a million :-))
Didnt realise this was the ITV pump and dump thread !
Could be ?
Surprised you are so quiet about Ips given you bought at the imaginary price of 3.2p :-)) Can you not hold a stock for more than a day then, i'm just trying to work out who you are from advfn ?
Care to enlighten us to your previous name here just incase i had it filtered. It was impossible to sell online all the way up until they trapped in a few buyers at 5.5p then when it dropped the mm opened the sell limits to make their profits and get the stock back. What's with the word "deformed" then ?
