Just profit taking. It was 8% down yesterday at one stage then came back. There’s an ii buying in imo and every dip is being bought up. Also, with the lack of shares available there will be dramatic swings.

Just hold it until the day it release bad news and enjoy the ride.

Yes it is a cash cow and under valued for sure. It it went through bad years under old ceo and racked up massive debt which made investors cautious with this company. There is also the fact that the mines are in an unstable country that puts investor off. But providing nothing bad happens, then the sp will eventually rerate to value this accordingly. If a dividend is announced then that should also help rerate the shares.

Personally I have a target between 60p-70p.

When you look at the EBITDA for the quarter of $116M you can see RSG doing $400-$450m for the year. Then consider the current market cap of the company and it shows the company is clearly under valued at the moment. A dividend should be reinstated this year. But it will take time for the share price to adjust as there will always be sellers. Give it time though and it will rerate. Then barring any bad news, the share price will be a lot higher in a year. Then you need to take into account the price of gold which can go up or down. Personally I believe it will continue to rise.

Then next month the interims. And I’m guessing RSG will announce a dividend.

Good detailed Alpha tip from ST in Investor Chronicles was released after hours on Friday. Expect a rise in the share price on Monday though it may be held back by Downing selling as they wind down their fund. But that will just give investors time to buy in before a re-rate happens.

Forget 31p being breached, that is far too low imo.

Surprised no one has mentioned a dividend being re-instated again soon, as this news can only increase the likely hood of a dividend.

Just have to have patience. It’s had a good run. There will be sellers all the way up so it won’t just shoot straight up. I’d rather it went up slowly. Hopefully it will now stay above the previous high and for a nice base. There is still plenty of volume going through.

So you came to this board to counter busytail, seems a little immature lowering yourself to others standards. Yes I do agree with you that there is a fair amount of risk here, but that can be said of investing in all gold mining companies. They all carry more risk than traditional companies. RSG is no exception especially because of its location of its mines in a country that is very unstable. But if you can stomach the risk, gold miners have a lot going for them at the moment. And RSG has a particularly good CEO at the moment who knows his business very well. Best of luck to you with SRB, it does look good imo.

Looks ok the update today. No bad surprises and good news that they are now unhedged which should make a huge difference to sales and profits.

Yep im guessing 120p today, then moving on to 140p over the next week. But hey, who really knows!

The thing is with miners not Truely following the gold share price is that the miners are an unloved sector that have struggled for a number of years. Wages and energy cost are high etc. But when updates come in with higher profits because of the high gold price investors should start to notice.

For me this is a long term hold off 5 years or more. I only see gold getting higher in time but with a small pull back and consolidation. I’ve loaded up in the last year to take advantage of the high dividend which has already returned 10% of my holdings. If people think the current gold price is good, wait 5 years and wonder what profits Paf will be making when gold is above 3000. And in the mean time, as long as gold stays above 2000 paf’s profits will still be good and the dividend will rise with the profits.

Totally agree with you. I hold PAF but this is my bigger holding as I see a bigger re-rate with RSG. It is time soon for the miners to have a bull run with interest rates likely to drop this year and the US Dollar is only going to loose value over the coming years. RSG is cash rich now, 11m oz in the ground, production to increase while AISC to drop. Add to this that a dividend will likely start this year which will bring in more investor. It is certainly a hidden gem that most investors don't see.

Makes the 30p new broker price seem cheap.
