RE: Blaming commentary28 Aug 2025 10:15
What is this? Someone posted this earlier.
Critically, gold was already found in Sept 2024 - they just needed to drill closer to source and deeper - running the drill program on a double shift basis - funds gained allow further drills to be prosecuted at this critical time.
RNS April 25
"The latest interpretation of all the data from site and the geophysical data generated from the Mobile Magnetotellurics Survey ("MobileMT") conducted by EGL last year showed that the main dome target at Red Setter remains completely untested and untouched by drilling. The main drill target is about 200m deeper than previous drilling "
"5m at 1.2g/t Au and 0.002% Cu from 319m (WRSDD0015)
7m at 2g/t Au and 0.38% Cu from 273m (WRSDD0008)
18m @ 0.49g/t AU - (WRSDD0015)
"These results are still significant and require further follow-up as they have similar characteristics to the nearby Telfer Gold Mine, where GGP recently reported a Mineral Resource Estimate of 154Mt @ 0.64g/t gold "
"The veining is similar to the ore at Telfer where the combination of bedding concordant reef veins and discordant veins have produced a very large gold copper system (>30Moz). The extensive zone of hydrothermal activity including wide zones of vein stockworks is highly encouraging. "
Highly encouraging results were already established in 2024
Then latest drill results to 777m depth, RNS Aug 21:
"From 570m to 722m an interval of 152m a breccia pipe was intersected, with quartz-carbonate veining and sulphides of chalcopyrite and pyrite observed to end of hole "
Ed Mead, Wishbone Gold WA director, commented:
"It is OUTSTANDING to see the emergence of this mineralised breccia pipe and see the INTENSITY of brecciation and the AMOUNT of quartz-carbonate veining and sulphides.
This is a FANTASTIC outcome as brecciation TYPIFIES a style of gold and copper mineralisation seen at both the nearby Telfer and Havieron deposits."
- Gold is already found
- Drilling now evaluating highest potential breccia mineralisation area - plan to go deeper towards 1000m
- Step out drills will delineate the pipe towards understanding overall scale of resource
