Forget about looking at the macro-environment. 10 year gilt yield now nearing 5%....Trump is about to blow up the global economy over Iran. That is the truth, how I'm just trying not to lose money here.

If the war carries on and gilt yields don't return to closer to 4 I can see a massive drop. Study a bit of history 1970s oil crisis. UK index down 70%, Us down 50%. I wouldn't be buying into any dips in this market. Preservation of capital is key here.
