Contrast today's results from ABF with our recent performances. Big jump in both revenue and profits. Increased div. And what do we get. Probably more of the same craap.

Whilst it's OK to see performance options granted to senior staff, I would have thought they would have been a bit more challenging. They clearly couldn't wait to get them in once the SP reached a long time low so to have an initial sp target of a little over 5p in 3 years time is disappointing and I would be amazed if they don't hit it. I was hoping the SP would be considerably above that level in 3 years time. If the 5p target had been set when sp was recently at 4.5p then shareholders would rightly be up in arms. Come on guys, play fair!!

He can if he follows the example of Foo and Dik of VOG, and has them at a mahoosive discount.

Increasing our share in Oz to 5% may look good but it is still pretty small beer in terms of overall turnover. I would be more concerned at what margin we make on producing for them. Are we just being busy fools and at the same time, keeping GD in a job he no longer should be in if there is any justice in the world?

Can't believe we still talk on this board about how important the state of the weather is on PFD's fortunes reviving. Any business whose product range is so tight or inflexible that it can't cope with hot summers and slightly warmer winters doesn't deserve to succeed. Hoping we are not one of them but I feel to some extent we do fall into that category.

Forget the shorters. This will gradually regain value as the benefits of the Argos T/O come into play. The in-store rollout continues apace and will make a massive difference to the Argos division bottom line once all these expensive town centre stores have been offloaded.

Carry on at this rate and the bloody directors will own more shares than the LTHs. Wouldn't mind if they'd actually earned them.

We can't keep on blaming the weather for lack of sales otherwise we may as well become a seasonal producer. If product range doesn't fit, make some changes to it. Might want to include Darby in that.

Yes the dilution is a little hurtful but I take great heart from the relatively small drop following announcement. I halved my holding a while back and now only have 75k shares but still see this as one of my favourite long term holds. Hoping to see at some point either divs or a takeover by Smith and Nephew. Or perhaps both,in that order. The more we grow the more likelihood we will be on someone's radar.

Just to rub salt in the wounds, Finsbury release yet another OK pre-trading statement. Wonder when we will get back to those heady days?

Have wanted to trade SBRY for ages but was in the red until more recently. Sold on 26 May at 282p after ex div and bought back Friday at 250p. . Hope you're right re the drop. Think this will pick up again once Argos fully bedded in. See in Mail on Sunday there are rumours they are going to buy the NISA distribution chain to complement the Sainsburys local.

SBRY SP holding up well considering that half the Argos distribution warehouses are on strike over the way SBRY have crapped on the workers. I'm afraid my loyalties are divided between my shareholding and family connected to Argos. Suppose the shareholding will win out though as ultimately, the cost savings will work their way through.
