From my experience of VOG history, a large drop near the close usually precedes a bad news RNS. I'm betting on formation damage due to the stuck gun or it's extraction. One thing it won't be is Old Sticky Fingers Foo giving up his bonus.

Agree. You would think they would want to steady investors' nerves by releasing whatever good news they could thereby letting it be known we are still in business and a force to reckon with. Instead, true to form, they retreat into the bunker and leave us all shivering in the dark outside and wondering if we have a future.

The only part of that which I would vote for would be the one thing that isn't going to happen, ie the �1 ps special div. As for Foo returning to his exploration roots, can you seriously imagine any investor putting into a venture run by him, given his track record of Foo First. More likely he would just retire and buy an island with his fortune.

You forgot to add a LOL to that post. Seriously though, I have topped up in this share a number of times over the years and have NEVER found myself better off as a result. Now one could argue that I'm just sh,ite at investing and that may be so. But it also highlights that Foo, DIK and Co are Sh.ite at running a whelk stall, much less a gas utility. Even if this show gets on the road again, I for one will never top up here again. Mind you I did say that once before and still did.

You're forgetting that McCormick's last and final offer was subject to inspecting the books, following which their enthusiasm waned. Can't see personally that much has happened since for them to put in a substantially increased offer, particularly a hostile one.

That's not as daft as some might think it sounds. You'd be opening up a huge new market with kids, especially with the right gory packaging. Just look at some of these energy drinks. The mark up on those is phenomenal.

At current SP, my investment is just about wiping it's face. I would top up if it dropped a few pence and maybe trade the top up on swings but with SP stagnant for so long and nothing changed within the company, that is not for me at present.
