There are approximately 1.5m NHS staff of which 10% or 150,000 are classed as medical. It would be irresponsible for the Gov not to supply these masks.
The usage would work out between 750,000 to 1m for a five day week.
Rms IS supplying NHS via a wholesaler !!
It does seem a coincidence... on his interview on 20th Oct he explains the makeup of blue existing mask and essentially just sandwiched the new nano coppet layer
The masks appearance is visually exactly the same as the the most popular blue mask we see worn by the public.
It occurred to me that perhaps only the magic copper layer needs be licensed/ joint venture to an existing major manufacturer such as 3M, thus gaining large volumes very quickly.
Perhaps these masks will be compulsory between jabs to help ensure not contracting cv19 until fully vaccinated. They might even become part of the administration programme

Regularly wearing face masks could soon become part of the country’s new reality during the pandemic, as social norms shift to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but consumers are not willing to spend much on the product. While prices for face masks vary depending on the seller, new Morning Consult polling found consumers’ ideal price is just $1.
A Morning Consult analysis based on the Van Westendorp model — which finds an optimum price point for goods or services by considering what prices consumers believe are “too expensive” and “too good to be true” — found that consumers would pay $1 to $3 for a face mask, with $1 being the optimal price.
Face masks on platforms such as Amazon.com Inc., along with at local shops such as bodegas in New York, are offering reusable and disposable face masks in value packs or for only a couple of dollars each, but many retailers that have started only recently begun producing reusable masks are charging closer to $10 to $30 a pop.
Face masks have become more popular in recent weeks. Sixty-six percent of U.S. adults said they have worn a mask in public in the past month, according to April 14-16 polling, a 16-point increase from those who said the same just last week. The most recent survey was conducted among 2,200 U.S. adults and holds a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
Beginning Friday, New Yorkers will be required to wear face coverings when out in public and social distancing is not possible, according to an executive order issued by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The Trump administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have also issued guidelines this m

What more can we ask for
Probably because 1) copper is not acidic & 2) the nanoparticles printed onto surface of materials.
Think news next week will be about commissioning of manufacturing, order numbers & outstanding/licensing.
In brh proactive interview 20th Oct he states 5m masks per machine and 1.25m ordered at that time. Would not be surprised if 5m orders already surpassed. Hence "we wanna bigger boat". So more machines and outsourcing/licensing on the way possibly globally.
Might just get taken out by major manufacturer. Machine operative probably for forwarding samples at this stage.
If these masks are the must have PPE, then the manufacturing will be licenced out globally . This could be mega bucks. Even at say 2.5% royalty (2.5p per glove) you're still talking £100's of millions!! A billion.globes = £25 million. Several billion could be manufactured world wide.

Perhaps he's referring not to a "slow boat" but a fast boat to China!!
Disposable gloves for nurses, disposable tablecloths for eateries and sp on. As you say in some cases the customer could even buy on entry.
Treating infections
Iodine can be used topically in a liquid form to help treat and prevent infections. It works by killing bacteria in and around mild cuts and scrapes.
Is this what the Times was alluding to. Perhaps that "significant news" the CEO mentioned at end of interview was tests caried out on viruses.
Barc will now take 100,000 at 31.26p. So yes, mms need someone to sell.
Should tick up soon
Barc will take 100,000 at 30.77p. That's above ask
