For a while, investors clung to the idea that Magnite was going to be the equivalent of The Trade Desk (TTD) but for SSP (supply-side platform).
Essentially, a publisher sells their ad space on an SSP, this could be a display, video, or mobile ad. And while the goal is to maximize the price at which that ad space gets sold to marketers, this is highly a commoditized offering: it's essentially a broker.
Indeed, Perion Network (PERI) is doing very similar things to Magnite.
And the Israeli company, Tremor International (OTCPK:TTTPF), has been on an absolute tear this year, and it does both the DSP and SSP sides of the advertising. However, the only difference between Tremor and its peers, Perion or Magnite, is that Tremor is solely focused on video advertising.
Nonetheless, Tremor is about to list in the US (probably on the Nasdaq) within less than 90 days, and that would bring a lot of visibility to Tremor.
