I think he took an unresearched punt based on a Schroders wealth advisors "scatter" invest in undervalued small cap AI recommendation (probably a city mate of city mate) then decided to crystallise losses for the year to set off against huge tax bills before the Labour government changes set off rules in April maybe....as you say LOTM it's just pocket money to him and he hasn't got the time or inclination to get into activism....I did try to reach out to him on an activism basis in Sept with a DM when I managed to liase with two ii's but he didn't get back to me at all so I took it at the time that he's got bigger fish to fry LOTM

So 350 mill at 1p to get 25 % strategic stake seems good value to a partner bearing in mind Mirriad raised nearly double that 7 months ago at 1.25p makes logical sense to me . Would like 1.25p like I'm sure Rathbones and M&G for 20% though
