I had similar background in distribution of electrical hardware from manufactures dealing mainly in export and a couple of years distribution in local retail channels bespoking a few fulfillment deals directly between the manufacturers and large retailers

Very out of touch now but I saw the the need for a long term close nda trusting relationship between brands (not necessarily manufacturers because the brand outsources that as well sometimes) and a local country/regional distributor

The brand could be HQ-d in South Korea manufactured in China packaged in Lithuania collected by a local subsidiary of the distributor then sent to the regional hub and on to retailers for example

these distributors dealt with multiple brands and the retailers liked dealing with the distributor because they could order different types of brands in one place

I relate the above to etailers now as in effect distributors with the consumer being the retailer in the above example

So there is a need for an ingenuity that holds many brands webshops for DTC with all the products located in a very large distribution centre would be great if all brands could agree with ingenuity that mutiple orders placed by a consumer could qualify for free shipping

Ingenuity is almost a shopping mall lots of shops in one place and all the stock is in the same place and ingenuity has a close in house if need be relationship with the brands

Ingenuity has the above regional shopping malls in UK US AUS POLAND

Their corporate buying structure may have a tax advantage over THG's non own brand etailing could be a perfect buyout partner as the non own brands THG sells would not see them as a competitor ie The Perfume Shop
