I expect Colin is nicely relaxing himself on the Eid National holiday period in Dubai which started yesterday, so very much doubt that we will hear any news until next week at the earliest.

Couple of positive observations about the placing:-

1. From the SP action in recent days there was no real evidence of forward selling by any “in the know” existing IIs who have taken up additional shares in this placing. This is very encouraging that the IIs are likely going to hold on to their stock for future higher SP value that ATM will surely achieve with their planned use of the placing funds and they will likely not engage in near term flipping going forwards.

2. There are no warrants involved and so we don’t have to be concerned with this main catalyst for placees to flip their placing shares causing a significant selling overhang churn whilst they hold onto their warrants until those are in the money and then they get exercised and once again you get another period of selling overhang due to the warrants sell off typically occurring.

Monecor - still a lot to sell ?

Last two RNS seems to show Monecor are selling off their holding.....unclear how far they will continue, but with over 10% still holding that’s a significant potential overhang to churn through.

If it drops back near 0.15 I shall look to pick up a few for the helium prospect.

This situation with the two local managers looks to be a storm in a teacup and created a good oversold buying opportunity at an opportune time when the gold price is heading north.....

I expect senior management will learn lessons from this and tighten up on the in-country operations and oversight going forward, which will benefit Serabi in future as they implement their upcoming expansion plans.

Some nice high grades in those latest drill results btw....

New CFO seems to have been around the block......he certainly timed his exit from PFC very well, being just a few months before the SFO came knocking on their door.

The Sasa asset was only purchased 3.5 years ago.......so has the BOD really been looking for another asset for years ? ..........hmmmmmm

Good news for Afritin (ATM), who also have lithium and tantalum in the feed stock from their large tonnage asset located in Namibia. They are planning to extract them as separate saleable products along with their existing Tin product sales via an upgrade/expansion to their existing production facilities.

Just the kind of Company that the Chinese etc will likely be sniffing around in the coming months for a takeover in my view.

Interesting RNS over on Bacanora Lithium (ticker BCN) for a Chinese takeover offer.

Think there is going to be a lot more of this in the coming months / years where the super powers will look to secure future key commodities supply, especially for large tonnage assets of in demand metals that are needed for the green economy, infrastructure and digitisation.

Holding onto my Afritin shares tightly.....

Worth noting that BMN retains a 5.9% holding of ATM shares as per the Afritin website.

Just been passing the BH time by re-reading the 2020 results RNS and I have noticed something subtle in their wording that I had missed before for which I don’t recall anyone else having already posted as follows:-

In this latest RNS wherever they speak of Texas they are describing as a “hosting” facility for 2022.

My understanding of hosting is that this means Argo would perform mining services of another parties hardware rather than self mining of their own hardware (i.e. the reverse of the agreement we currently have in place with Core Scientific where they provide hosting for Argo hardware as per the 5th Nov 2020 RNS).

In the previous RNS releases related to Texas they were always describing as “mining” facility and I certainly had got the impression from this wording that it meant that Argo would be self mining their owned (or leased) hardware.

I expect this post will create lots of debate and that’s a good thing in my view.

Clearly as non insiders are still pretty much in the dark about the specific strategy and details for Texas and I for one really look forward to see how it plays out as PW gradually releases the Texas development news and the associated rationale for their specific path forward plan.

We may even be able to get him to spell out an overview for the Texas strategy in his next Q&A video.....

One thing we know for sure.....Argo always does “smart growth” !!

Hey fella, not sure from which rock you crawled from under, but the only “facts” that non insiders are aware of are what gets formally RNS’d......

You just seem to be a poor story teller with a vivid imagination. For example your first statement says “delayed filings for 2 years running”....I will highlight to you that there was an extension period granted for 2019 results filings due to the covid pandemic was kicking in hard at the backend of Q1 2020 and so their results filing publication last year was not classed as delayed.

In future please keep yourself to the HUM board where you appear to be well liked.....(not).

Just noticed hidden over on the Aquis exchange by those cheeky MMs, there is another delayed trade on 28th April at 112.5K which also looks to me to be a buy.......this is very interesting accumulation by someone as added together they are 0.73% of the total shares issued.....

Interesting to see 3 delayed trades showing up from 28th April for a total 100K shares done within a 1/2 hour period.....

I suspect they are all buys from the same buyer considering the SP has risen since then and this amount of shares represents several weeks of trading normally......

Let’s see where we head in the coming weeks with further IDH news etc....

Within this one RNS you get three references to funding for which you can reach differing interpretations:-

1. “.......No further funding for capex or opex was required.......”

2. “.......The Company would like to confirm that it is not planning a placing.....”

3. “.......without needing to come back to the market for the foreseeable future.......”

I think with AP’s past form on placings I know which of these outcomes I am expecting....beyond the foreseeable future.

CAML would be a good place for investors to load up with their KAZ minerals sale outcome monies:

Noticed the KAZ minerals RNS this morning which looks like their sale will be going through shortly. I would expect a good amount of investors monies from the sale will be looking for a new home retained in the buoyant copper space.....

They should be seriously looking at CAML to park their funds as it remains significantly undervalued based on the annual production guidances, rising commodity prices and envisaged revenue and profit expected here.

A long way still to go with these conversions and from what we have seen recently the definition of “immediate” in the RNS only seems to mean it likely won’t happen in the next few days but we can likely expect another conversion RNS by next week....so how low will the SP go before it bottoms out I wonder.

Positive trading update:

Good update, especially the significantly reduced value for the envisaged adverse revenue impact for the Huntingdon trials reduced scope versus the worst case 100% cancellation of scope scenario impact details that was published via RNS on 23rd March....

This created an excellent oversold buying opportunity.

It will be great to hear from them shortly for when it is being rolled out to the rest of the world (currently states only for UK & Ireland) + being made available also to access via Android (currently only states for Apple) so as to maximise upon the customer base & revenue opportunities for skin trust club.
