Glad to hear they have all the components. This is the question I emailed them about a couple of weeks ago with no reply so at least that's answered. Looking forward to the end of the year with updates of beam being fired through the scdtl's.

I don't hold out much hope PM44. When Neil Woodford talks about investing in the management of a company this is what he's talking about. LIGHT probably is a great product and the bright men and women building it are amazing. But all of this without strong leadship to make a company achieve its goals, meet its targets and inspire investors to put the money into them so they can become a profit making company is useless. I won't be investing any more and will decide what to do with the 30,000 shares I hold. I'm trying to decide if the new COO Ed Lee has what it takes to succeed.

Management aren't great and their investor relations are shocking! I've emailed twice to ask if they have taken delivery of all the ccls and if they have started firing the beam through the scdtls as per the new timelines laid out in March. No reply. Starting to ring alarm bells that they are already 2 months over the new timeline that they only set in March. I'm holding off making any more investment until they answer questions and I know that they are keeping to the timeline.

It's a but rash to say it's not worth being in this one. I'm just pointing out some of the problems I see, these might not be problems and they have paid all of the suppliers up front and everything has been delivered and is being tested but they just haven't told us. May be they have the funding to carry them forward for the build, they do keep saying the Metric financing is still available. It's strange they didn't use that financing which has a loan interest rate than the 12% being paid on the loan announced yesterday. I'm not getting out but i'm being very cautious of the financing situation and more so if the timeline for the LIGHT machine is already slipping. It's good you aren't worried at all Ian1234 and don't have the concerns about the financing/timeline that I have.

The loan they have might be enough to cover the day to day running costs of the company for a few months but do we have the money to pay the suppliers of the CCL's, the SCDTL's, the patient positioning system? these are the sections they are meant to be working on now. The CCL's are well behind schedule already as they were meant to be delivered mid Q2 but we haven't had and RNS saying they are in. Do we have the SCDTL's which they should be firing the beam through over Q3 and 4. I am concerned that the timeline laid out in March is already slipping, the investor relations they spoke about in the March presentation doesn't seem to be happening to the extent it could be. Yesterday was a positive rise but there are still unanswered questions.

Does anyone know if we have taken delivery of the 4 SCDTL's? the last RNS I can see is from 2015 when the company making them started testing them. One concern with the finances are paying our suppliers, have we paid for the CCL's and SCDTL's? the new time line said we should have taken delivery of the CCL's mid Q22017 but we haven't been told they have been delivered. We are meant to be putting the beam through the SCDTL's from now until the end of the year. We haven't had an update to say these have been delivered and we are doing this. If no one has heard I will ask the company for an update on these slipping timelines.

It's a shame I was 11 days away from my quarterly purchase of shares! :-)

It's good news but we still have a long way to go. It is a good sign that institutional investors are lending the company more money.

And Bracknors website is down.

I hope they do still have access to the metric financing as £3.9m won't last them long. I thought the Bracknor wasn't idea but it was a significant amount of money that would have got a large amount of the technical work done. How will this be financed?

I'm starting to get a little nervous now about the financing situation. I wasn't bothered by the Bracknor financing as I saw it as a positive to get the technology to where it needs to be. But this dropping share price and the extra fees they have to pay for the financing will eventually require them to drop the nominal share price. It could also get to a point where Bracknor won't issue more tranches because they can't make their money back. there isn't due to be any meaningful technical development until the beginning of Q12018 when the beam is fired through the SCDTL. A lot can happen in 6 months and I do hope it's for the positive.

Will that be the point that the drop the nominal price.

It is a potential that they could walk but that would depend on the contract between them and AVO. That would put a spanner in the works I would imagine.

I would imagine ADAM hold the licence from CERN and not AVO. ADAM are however wholly owned by AVO.

You're right Ian1234 none of really know what will happen and we can only go with our own views. I like to read the different views and emotions on this board but in no way do I allow them to affect my view. I do my own research and that makes me content with my investment decisions. I welcome this low share price as it allows me to top up every quarter using income from funds. I keep a close eye on things and keep challenging my decision to ensure I am still happy, if the answer is no then I will sell.

Trying to guess the market and by in at a lower price is very hard to do. With stock like this I find it easier to buy and hold or if I don't believe in the company sell and move on not try and guess when the price will drop to buy into a company I don't believe in. It sounds like people sold because they don't have faith in the BoD, I don't see them changing any time soon so why would you invest in the same people at a lower price?

Interesting you say "Howard de Walden have a long term plan to develop Harley Street as a significant international centre of medical excellence" I think you will find they are already that. As you say the family have owned this land for a very long time and it is already a long established area of medical excellence. They approached AVO because they wanted a proton bean therapy centre to enhance the area further. I imagine they have done some due diligence on AVO before offering to pay £6-7 million preparing a building for their machine. I don't have to convince you as you aren't a share holder of AVO and your posts just seem negative due to the money you have lost due to the time scales being pushed out by another 3 years and the lack of information from the BoD leading up to the announcement of the new timelines. I have my view on the BoD, the company, the tech and Harley street and are happy to stay invested. You had your view and weren't happy to stay in.

I beg to differ. The work they are doing to house the light machine makes it an unusual layout, most of the building will be underground in the cellar. If they wanted to get planning permission for a building that had generic use they could do that without AVO.
