Knowing his end game would be very useful as further equity dilution at these price levels would be dreadful. Thanks for your thoughts anyway.
Why a transformational year? Going to pay off some of the debt burden? Jose is also confident that further deal news will follow should the negotiations they are currently in bear fruit. Well thats not really raising expectations. I think news management from this company could be seriously improved.
How old is that quote from Jose?
welcome, Im not sure I would recommend buying just yet.
Thanks Jace. I think it will need quite a few contract wins and sight of revenues to service the debt before we get anywhere near my break even. Lots of stale holders to sell out in the meantime, and I cant blame them.
Dont get carried away. I have been in since 2015 when the sp was over 10p.
Was not commercialisation of sweetbiotix & getting Slimbiome into supermarkets part of Optis existing plans for which they say they have sufficient funds already? Only the pharma opportunity for lpldl appears new for which additional funding is required. Surprised he says the lpldl pharma opportunity is a greater value enhancing opportunity than Sweetbiotix, unless I misheard.
Good post Trek. But with Opti you never know, there maybe another surprise to come tomorrow with the results.
They have a lot of shares to dispose of should they choose. Even if managed in an orderly manner it could keep a lid on further rises for some time. All the company can do is continue to win contacts and awards (Slimbiome tonight). Perhaps also sack Finncap.
Thanks Elrico, quite a detailed and comprehensive response. I do wonder though, as the bad press on sugar continues to increase, if it might impact consumers choice - even if the sugars are natural. Hopefully the Slimbiome reputation will more than outweigh it though when it wins the award next week!
The nhs website states that products with more than 22.5g of sugar per 100g are classed as high sugar products. I therefore find in very surprising that the new Gofigure Cranberry Coconut Flapjack bar has 22.7g per 100g. Surely, if it had the traffic light signal on its packaging it would be red. Am I mis-interpreting this?
500k at most, I expect a fair bit lower. But its the forward outlook that is important.
Revenues will be rubbish. Hopefully the outlook will be amazing.
Cheers Elrico. I was wondering how this latest deal announced yesterday works. The RNS states that CCL will buy Slimbiome direct from Opti. As Opti dont manufacture Slimbiome, does Opti therefore buy the Slimbiome from Knighton (who do manufacture it) just to sell it on to CCL? If so why would CCL not just buy it direct from Knighton? is my logic amiss somewhere?
Elrico, the 2015 accounts were released in an RNS on April 14th 2016, not May. The 2016 accounts were released on the 25th April 2017. The complexity of the sbtx listing was already dealt with in the interim accounts for May 2017 released in Aug 2017.
I would not be surprised if the results are released later this year (late May) as the company tries to close a significant deal before hand. Never good when an Aim company delays publishing its accounts.
Hope you timed it right. Would be nice to see blue today.
At least todays fairly comprehensive update now provides the market with a good assessment of the companys current position and its future prospects. So the market is now much better placed to makes it valuation. Currently it looks like investors had expected more though. 6 months from now hopefully it will be a much different story............
Not sure why that would make him resign as a director. So far as I know, he is still a shareholder in the company. Why dilute his influence by resigning?
Interesting find from mol on 3i that Max Tomlinson has gone as a Director from gofigure. Not sure that I have seen any comment on that anywhere else. I wonder if it was amicable?
