The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I have £10k waiting to invest in aaog spike but betting on them not finding oil at djeno, so if this is the case will buy on the dip, gl though if you are investing for a positive outcome. Made 70% profit on aaog over last few months. Think you would be better off in here personally only 25% COS over there, high probability that a deal will be struck here.
the latest one's suggest they all want to do a deal. Are you in or out.
Quick profit to be made here I feel, rampity ramp and before anyone says anything I have £13k invested and hoping to bag quickly. GLA
there is a deal to be struck, so onwards and upwards. The next few days will quickly pass and we will know where we stand. Timing AIM purchase and sells all part of the game. Buying and selling at the optimum point in time is impossible on AIM. Ok it might be the best opportunity to buy in today on this RNS but who knows. If this bags from this point I wont be complaining about my initial purchase price, irrespective of where we end up today. Tel Aviv only dropped 7% on this news so if we end up the same no big deal at this point in the proceedings. A little more patience is required. GLA
I chucked in another £3200 today coldspy, fully loaded now. Tick Tock
Looking at the potential value of TI it looks to me that it is worth more than the outstanding liabilities no matter which way you calculate the value. The income stream from TI seems sufficient to meet cost of debt going forward so you would think B/H would agree to plan. B/H securing higher interest payments for playing ball is a positive sign that a deal will be struck.
If TI was eventually sold in a orderly manner it would appear that Bondholders would be repaid and shareholders could do very well out of that sale.
Of course the B/H could be looking at this and thinking forced sale we should still get our money back and stuff the shareholders, but this option is a risk for them. The income stream seems steady to be able to repay interest payments and an orderly sale guarantees repayment of outstanding debt and interest so on reflection why would they rock the boat.
High risk but the share price should jump on agreement.
Spike I hope you did the right thing crystallising your previous 10.2 purchase when you sold yesterday. Have you bought back in fully or are you hoping to get in even lower. The extra £5k I have sitting on the fence is still sitting on the fence!
Wow ironic are you being ironic. Do you seriously believe that s/h on here do not look in on Tel Aviv regularly to check on that share price.
If you want to continue de-ramping do it more transparently LOL
From what I can read spike, we got informed the scheduled meeting was cancelled on the day but for all we know it was cancelled days previously who knows. The one thing I will say is the share price in the other market doubled from around the first meeting cancellation since pulled back a bit but still a large increase. You would think they would have a more informed outlook than us lot!
waiting on the side to pump into this if it falls much further. Already got £10k invested at 7.2ish which is the most I really want to speculate, but if it drifts I might be tempted. For me the RNS is re-assuring. Why bother re-arranging the meeting again if it was a dead duck it would be a dead duck by now. Clearly they are ironing out the finer details. GLA
why do you think you need to educate the posters on this board.
This share will move massively on positive B/H news, well hopefully up as I have £10k invested now at average 7.40p.
Investors don't need do any research other than decide if they want to speculate on the outcome of the meeting being held today. For me I think the B/H will approve the proposal because they will make money out of the deal, if this happens the share price will go up, by how much I really don't know but if it bags I for one would be delighted.
This is potentially is the one bit of news that is a game changer for the fortunes of S/H so I would expect significant upward movement. What happens in the next few weeks who knows probably a short term traders stock until TI is sold.
GL anyway as you say you are invested at 10.2p so presumably you want a positive outcome.
I know you are in spike only joking around.
I know you are in big time flight. Give spike time then he will probably jump aboard too. Only need to wait a few days to know our fate, if this gets approved by BH then I would assume big time re-rate.
show. Stop wasting you energy trying to score points against each other and buy buy buy before the incoming re-rate happens LOL
Just read through it again and it seems to me that the Bondholders would be crazy not to accept the proposal. Especially now the deal has been sweetened for them.
from sidelines for a while. Invested for first time. I think the BH will need to play ball here.
Its worth a small £4k punt.

have got to close those shorts at some time. Will they get greedy or will they cash in now and bank profits.
12.18 showed as buy Chesh
to give share price boost.
reasonable price to get in. Just bought 1.7m, first investment in OEX. GLA
back in with £5k buy on this dip. funny enough i sold around this price the other week because I was worried about placing and Mengo result. Mengo has come up trumps and I expect those shorts will now have to close!
