The key take away (so far) relates to cornerstone (QIA) and/or seed investors holding or increasing, including directors with Matt purchasing £38m of stock since IPO.

Sparta may be playing a tactical move waiting to see if any other bidders are flushed out or indeed Apollo go formal.

Oke, Bloomberg is not the share register, data is pulled from annual reports and monthly fact sheets along with self declarations, can be 12 months out of date - lets see what the rule 8's confirm this week, no hiding from those unless under 1%

Posting share holdings by individuals can be linked directly to the share register which has your full name and address, if you want to remain anonymous then not a great thing to do.

We need Sparta to complete their notification this week as nothing other than a newspaper (unlike Kelso).

I would also like to see more funds just under the 5% threshold reporting in - still have a big free float on current data, Capital Research & Management Co is one such possibility.

All to play for..

P.S was it the Times or FT that mentioned the wrong Kelso based in New York..?

Its the absence of Jupiter and Chrysalis which is leaving a gap, with Jupiter adding during last bidding round taking their holding to just under 8%.

Whilst QIA and Matt mopped up Softbanks holding I don't recall the same for above.

..the story so far..

25.59% have declared which given the longevity of their holdings would suggest in for the long haul (unsure on Blackrock) and behind team Matt.

Last years notifications include the below (not comprehensive) with both QIA and Matt adjusted from last TR1's being the last available update.

This is obviously a best guess on data which could have changed significantly over the last 12 months.

We know from previous notifications (Barclays) some market makers are running fairly chunky long/positions, I would estimate this to account for another 6% on the long side, with Qube, Marshall Wace and others adding another 4% .

Added together this would account for 66% of the share register so far, we have another week of notifications - interested to see how this pans out..

HH, there were quite a few that sold out close to the bottom, Jupiter, Chrysalis and of course Softbank.

This was at the height of analyst notes being issued with absolutely no grasp of the business or its underlying value.

Added in Kelso given their overall importance. Blackrock not sure on, one to monitor.

Every time I check the US/China business media outlets, al I see is a raft of companies either opening up in China or expanding existing infrastructure.

Shenzhen has today has relaxed mortgage rules which is expected to proved a further boost to the economy.

EU is now split with traditionally siding with US, a move which has weakened the US to impose further sanctions.

What would be nice is for THG to announce they have opened the books for Apollo, big step for both sides ..

Not sure I follow on that one Jatw, how would it affect a separate product ?
