It has nothing to do with THG or their management imo, there are simply too many examples as evidenced by M & A activity.
Purely from a fund managers perspective (and not taking sides), Brexit is likely a contributing factor, de-risking and that sort of thinking. Looking at European markets there is some divergence with the CAC/DAX during this period, both have done better but this is only at a glance, no detailed analysis.
I don't think its just one thing, but an aggregate of disillusionment by investors, I would even say this extends somewhat to US markets again, as evidenced by huge buybacks proposed this year.
So where does this leave THG and companies in the same boat, either change is made at grass roots level (slow, almost non existent) or leave..
