dunno about 'a few days' but however long it takes to work through the insti selling / rebalancing / shuffling... it remains a wide open goal for PIs imo.

they don't care, probably don't even know what the company does and never will ... imo, broker just arranges deals to shift a load of shares and someone gets a nailed on 10% in the 'orderly' process ... easily done as demand is clearly there. We do not appear to be short of buyers and as soon as shares are cleared I would expect that to reflect more in the SP.

L&G reducing TR-1s are showing on Rockrose website but not on LSE.
Can't find any TR-1 for Scarborough trust since April 2018.

So I do wonder why is L&G and Scarborough Trust are not listed in this April's annual report and also the July prospectus when they were already declared previously and would appear to still be over 3% ? (L&G dropping below 3% and off radar only today)

Do we have to guess who the major shareholders of the company are ?

L&G go from 3.91% to sub 3%.

Yet, from the prospectus...

a lot of the "sells" being printed are buys ... for example the run of 17.614 in red just now were all buys. The displayed mid and spread is being moved about and so a lot of buys are coming up red.

The big selling will be in the background being fed in mostly shown as delayed and after hours prints.

Makes little difference in the big scheme ... SP will be kept in range if there are big sell orders in from the likes of Macquarie and Cavendish. mac were turbo selling around 6p ... so why wouldn't they now after relist at 3x that ?

Cavendish must surely have to rebalance with RRE having gone from 10% to over 20% of the fund ?

Whatever the case... once worked through, however long it takes, I expect it to start climbing sharply to reflect better value. Meantime, happy to take advantage of any dips towards cash levels be that bottom or not.

just means they are not aware of any material news at the time of purchase... I expect they can become aware of material information / news at anytime.

Meantime we'll just have to be content with piling up cash... boring eh :)

"TOUCHSTONE EXPLORATION (TXP.TO)

Touchstone is active in Trinidad and via recompletions and drilling raised production in Q/19 to 2,121 barrels per day up from 1,543 in Q1/18. The exciting upside for Touchstone that attracts us and why we are recommending this stock for the first time is their three well high impact exploration drilling program to start mid-August. The targets are both natural gas and oil and are deeper than their previous drilling. The cost of the wells is US$2.5 million each (80 per cent Touchstone) and they have on the balance sheet US$7.6 million for the program plus their 2019 cash flow of over US$10 million. If the first well, a natural gas development, is successful, production could reach 3,000 boe/d by Q2/20 and to 4,000 boe/d by year-end 2020. Our one-year target is 50 cents. We own the stock ($43 million market cap) and plan to buy more over time."

Yummy... RRE is not an AIM share and "realistically" as well as "all bias aside".. the production is real as are the reserves and also the revenue & pile of cash... all figures are real actual figures so you can do real actual research and work it out.

Not the same as speculating and hoping you are not being played by a gravy train BOD on an AIM tiddler.

you did very well... I got 17.68 for top up. Cheapest quote I saw was 17.48.

Seemed a bit mad adding at 17.68 with an average of 5.95 ... but it feels like round 2 with price held back due to instis selling and now rebalancing whilst we trade too low around unrestricted cash levels , continuing to pile it on with a growing stack ready for an acquisition. Double dipper.

I expect it would be working on valuations from close, not an intraday snapshot.

Is it not because the valuation point on the Cavendish fund is 12 mid day ? ... so you will see the RRE benefit tomorrow. GL

I think your 5K share buyer is a seller... The 5k buys noted appear to be mostly delayed trades that look more like sells imo, from a quick scan.

No doubt there will be plenty of rebalancing and profit taking but as has been mentioned... Quite possibly Macquarie are resuming the selling that they were working through from tender up to suspension... which is all good as I expect that them selling played a large role in holding the SP back and allowing so many PIs to accumulate around 6p or so. More of the same is fine by me.

Cavendish may also be selling as it would may prudent to rebalance the fund ?... again, good for PIs who are looking to buy or hold, imo.

Bound to be a lot of rebalancing going on. Sitting at over 30% of my SIPP equity exposure now I probably should do it myself ... but I won't.
