same here MT... sold a lot of other stuff and was feeling pleased being over 60% cash last week (before throwing some darts at TXP and missing pub wall let alone the board)

That said... as much as I have been expecting mass carnage I didn't expect RRE to get spanked so much. Will be coming out the other side with more shares though.

Lets not forget ... RRE is a predator, cashed up and on the hunt. This is the ideal environment for such a beast.

Like rookie says... RTO and suspension could come at anytime.

Suffering paper pain right now of course, not much isn't... but sell out RRE to wait it out ? Risky if you have a long game view here... hunting season appears to be upon us.

I don't get the Flu comparison folks make tbh ... this new virus has only been around for 2 months.

TXP been very good to me over the years but dipping into the 60% cash (based on virus crash prediction) I was feeling smug about holding last week to buy back in is possibly my worst trade ever so far and swung me under 50% cash.

it may also be worth remembering that it is a fresh, maiden regular divi from a cash rich company that is certainly not likely to be cut ... the opposite if anything or a special divi on top.

Dow got a way down yet next few weeks / months imo... but will probly tag new ATH on election run up.

not sure 1200 will be a big drop on the DOW munch.

Chart update from a mate who doesn't post on LSE...

RRE The move from pre-suspension (£7.70 low) to the high on the opening day (£22.10) has the 0.5 fib at £14.90 and from the most recent low (£16.60) to the £23 high has a 1.272 fib of £14.90 Both of these markers were tagged today. Hopefully this confluence of short and long term trend is the bottom? The fib from the opening day trading (open of £17.50 to close at £22.10) has a 1.618 extension at £14.70 too so there is a lot of confluence in this area. If this pattern holds then £16.60 should be first resistance. Every time RSI has been down at 25 it has bounced to an RSI of 80 or more (October 2017 onward shows this). Hopefully this is the correct pattern in play and all long holders get some rewards.

I sold LTGE and all funds a month ago... was 50% cash last week (exc property in SIPP). I been banging on about the virus being heavy for 6 weeks like the local nutter... I was 'that' paranoid dad asking the school to write a letter a month ago (about 'that thing in China') ... and here we are now, my nipper's school and her class (and mate) has now had a direct hit with one going into self isolation yesterday having been on a half term trip along with one of the schools in the news.... news not mentioning they all went into school on monday before being pulled out of course. Strange days.
