If you had to enter a busy airport / national & global transit system ... would you prefer...
A : You and everyone in there had an antibody test (proving they have had it ... noting we are told by WHO that it doesn't mean immunity and that we can't get it again)
B: You and everyone in there had an antigen test (so no one currently has it (symptomatic or not)... so no one is contagious)
barnyards is a new account that joined in feb just to troll forums for the covid crisis and oil drop rookie... there are a lot of these idiots about.... schools are off full time as well so likely a lot of them are kids or billy no mates on lock down with the mental age of kids.
RE: First time investor, brought at less than 20p - advice please!!24 Apr 2020 15:42
hmmm ... yes, wouldn't want to be caught out still holding when news of a new partner or two drops ... or when Cytiva have knocked out the first test strip.
admit I've never heard of 212... quick look and maybe they only offered limited stocks, maybe not AIM listed or something ? Best contact them to clarify.
interactove investor is worth a look ... not used it but XO comes up a lot regards being cheap.
if you take a long haul flight with one stopover ... you would likely have to be tested at least 3 times just for that one trip, once at point of entry to each airport. Then possibly exit from the airport through customs... who knows where from then on.
FDA guy on the news last night said tests don't even need FDA approval but if released without need to state so ... he said they are testing non FDA tests anyway and gving approval as they do.
Can't find the link directly atm so take as unconfirmed ... but I did read that our partner Cytiva (formerly GE healthcare) is responsible for 75% of all FDA approvals which if true should bode well for a very swift and efficient process to approval.
just inserting into a decent thread ... in case anyone missed it...
"Avacta Group’s COVID-19 tests could hold the key to economic recovery"
"AIM-listed Avacta (LON:AVCT) is at the forefront of the drive to develop testing kits on a large enough scale to help track COVID-19 and prevent the spread of the virus, and ultimately reduce deaths.
The broad testing for COVID-19 is also the first step in allowing non-contagious people go back to work and aid the economic recovery."
no... but like any investor... US investors can buy UK stocks and many will be hunting down and researching credible Covid-19 plays. They can stay up all night for the UK open of course... but mostly wake up and start their day later in our day. You get that right ?
I doubt it ... more likely his account was terminated. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did... you can't just set up new accounts purely to troll and disrupt forums for the sake of a petty delusional attempt to manipulate the market by influencing weak holders.
I noticed an FDA guy on the news last night talking about there being a lot of tests in the pipe but mentioning the supply of reagents and other essentials being the important element.
AVCT is like being hooked up with a major supermarket bakery to bake the best bread during a global bread shortage... at the same time as making the best flour for all other global bakeries.
