On it's own does it matter? If they cost tuppence and take 2 mins to replace and don't need it switching off then a poor longevity is not much of a problem, if they cost shed loads and need a day of downtime then that's a different story, so longevity on it's own is not that useful. The PLACE metrics kind of accounted for that. If they say 2 years and 300 days, what do we do with that information, nod sagely? if they say 2 years and 299 days do we panic sell?
Sorry to sound harsh but there's a much wider picture, better might be the total cost of ownership per 100KW over 5 years, compared to some other system, like diesel generators, or some non-alkaline fuel cell, taking into account servicing, parts, fuel etc.
