When a company becomes a cash shell, it has six months to buy a new business or be reversed into by an existing company that wants a stock market listing.
Don’t worry about selling before being suspended, as you won’t get a chance. If a company suspends its shares, it doesn’t say “ we’re going to suspend our shares, sell now if you want to”. It just happens. No reason for RLD to be suspended.
No reason for the share price to go up if it becomes a cash shell, only reason the price rises is anticipation that the board of directors have found a good acquisition, or somebody want to inject their business into us. Which might happen with Fura wanting a UK listing, maybe. If we find a company we want to buy, there will be a fund raise to pay for it, obviously, because would you just give your company away, no. Our good points will be, a clean company with tax loses for future use and a UK listing, which costs money to get. I have held for years, written off my investment, but now hopefully I may get my money back, so genuinely hope it flies. GLA

Just want to say I sincerely feel your frustration. We both should’ve sold when they spiked to 6p couple of years back. I too believe we were saved when RLD moved from Tanzania to Queensland, believed all the news, but never really got going.
Like you, considered going to Bermuda to give them apiece of my mind.
When we started moving the other week I nearly sold at 0.001p, then dropped back and kicked myself. I’m still down about £26,000 , hovered over the sell button today at 0.0039p. You obviously can make hard decisions when needed, (when you sold),but after the share price destruction by a thousand ticks down over the years, I don’t blame you one bit. I enjoyed your research over the years, many thanks, and wish you well. The stock market offers us all, an endless opportunity to make money and we should all be on the same team.

We could do with some news Dabbler1, got trapped here the last time PVG spiked over a £. Could do with the BOD taking us over and put us out of our misery.

Wants a slice of the pie (fees), which MPS will share with everyone who makes the port run. Until MPS have a concrete agreement with all the naysayers, moaning, protesting (even if it is twelve people), importers, exporters, government and even the bin men, would you commit to giving Scanport/ Westminster or anybody else and agreed amount of money for years to come, without knowing how much you have coming in, NO! MPS want dollars, but the locals get stung when their local currency is weak, costing them more, it’s a fine balancing act. It will happen because $1.5 billion has been spent, and Ghana need the revenue, simple.
Annoying yes. But once it happens a lot on here will disappear in a few weeks, never to think of WSG again, so you’ll just have to wait. Yes I know we’ve waited years, myself about 4/5, others longer, but what else can we do, sell. Nobody gave us a contract when we purchased our shares guaranteeing us a profit, we’re just gambling really.

It is looking good. The next RNS will probably be more of a Tema update, slipping in contracts signed, and back pay received. Then more details at the trading update in Jan. They won’t want to antagonise any other departments/ workers, so play it down maybe. But I’m often wrong!

Obviously I would love WSG to grow into a great company with a share price to reflect that, but I feel I’m waiting for Tema, like I was waiting for that military aircraft to bring our prop shaft to the UK to be repaired. Law of averages this has to be our time now.....surely gla.

Sooner than that. Hopefully PF hasn’t tried to increase our take with respect to the price increase, but instead increased out contracts length, 18 years. He was very happy with monetary split before the delay, so maybe he pushed for a slightly longer term. The length of the contract is what will put a rocket under the share price, obviously what ever we’re paid too, but the length will make the SP boom, or flop. Don’t want to say, wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend, but yeah, said it now.

Didn’t anyone notice a new market maker join the the party yesterday afternoon too. To suddenly offer a market in a new stock is also very bullish, as they’re expecting a pick up in trading.
