Bank of America downgraded WPP. £9.00 target price

Contract 20 yrs. Business and trading update and notice of results RNS will mention Tema contract as signed/ exchanged, no separate RNS because it’s a formality. Share price will re rate more than we expected. Warrants exercised, cash used to redeem the CLN, which in turn will move the SP up again. There will be pull back, 20% or so, flat line for a bit, have another run up October/ November towards trading update as it’s anticipated full year of growing revenue and company gaining press coverage. I’ll put my crystal balls away now :-)

Hopefully no date declared so PF can announce trading statement as soon as Tema is nailed, and have all the news wrapped up together. Forever the optimist :-)

I’ve worried it maybe smaller than hoped, no pun intended. But do feel that MPS and the whole setup are having to play it down, get it sorted, not rub anyone’s nose in it. As I said earlier, when September 18th update came out saying we’re being paid on account, I got the feeling that had only just started, not been going on since the June opening. All the chat on here about 150 men on the ground and not being paid, made PF slip in about being paid on account. That leads to us not having accured as much as we thought so far. Figures are vague as to not rock the boat, no pun intended again. But on that point, wonder which of us will unknowingly have a boat trip in Greece on the infamous Sierra Queen.

Hi Misty12, is the nonsense bit market makers reading the update as positive?
Often when a company issues a profit warning and the price is marked down a large percent, it can trade closely to the opening price, and when a price is marked up the same can happen. MM’s set the price at where they think it should be. Not rocket science I know, just an observation, gut feeling from investing over the last 33 years. Might be nonsense, but certainly better than being marked down at open :-)

Wanted to add that the MM's marked this up first thing 14p - 16p, so they thought/ think its good news. Always a very good sign

Still got them Jim. Personally pleased with todays news. No nasty surprises, SQ going for more money than expected, all be on the drip. Formality is good enough as done. Contract will be signed, a legitimate reason why we've had to wait, sorting out the fees. Revenues on the up and up. Yes no fireworks, but no bad news either. 2020 should be great for us.

14p - 16p already, with only two MM’s open

I reckon Tema payments would be more than that since June 28th open date. 18th September update says paid on account for work done, always had a niggle we had only just started to be paid, due to discussions on going, not from the port open day.

SQ. $643,000 very surprised, unfortunately on the drip @ $40000 a month, but going at least.

The Fxpress Payment Services is looking to list on London’s Aim with a price tag of £25m.
They had identified a possible company described as a corporate finance boutique.
Nice to read someone is looking for a cash shell.
They can have us. They handled £120m of currency last month.

Still got mine, but you and I aren’t really surprised with this morning’s action, I was hopeful but as I said earlier, written this off a long time ago. Still love how your posts are helpful, thanks.

Only playing devil’s advocate here, but maybe holding Fura shares made it harder for Fura to do a RTO into us. So increasing the cash instead of shares makes it more likely it will happen? No facts, just typing out loud :-)

Should all be done this week then, and I think it’s better for us to have the cash not Fura shares, win win.
