Hi Ian, I used to receive letters from Halifax in respect of AGM / EGM voting. However it’s been a long time since I invested in anything. Do they still do this do you know?

Queeld only hold 11% of the shares. They would need 25% to vote down a resolution. I don’t see them acting in concert with anyone so not possible imo. When I was in CAD a hedge fund WEISS I think start accumulating shares to take them over and sell off the assets. I think there was a concert party too, who when combined meant they had over 30%, however it was difficult to prove. Not something that will happen here, unless these bashers have a big bag of swagg they haven’t told us about lol.

EthioEthio, no worries, neither do I. Just had a quick skim read on Google. I think the best hypothesis is, we are sitting on 2 or more unacceptable bids and we intend to pit them against each other in one last push, which could back fire but if it does the backup plan is becoming more and more substantial.

EthioEthio, can you explain the mechanics of this? I thought poison pill only applied if the bidder already had a large stake. Our bidders have zero stake in this co. I agree with the earlier poster re the final auction. The EGM resolution is just in case nobody ups there bid and we decide to go it alone (unlikely)

I just asked if there had been any changes. They referred to the relevant rns, and confirmed no changes other than what had already been released.

Lol Mannamead, I had a pretty good idea that was the case. He previously said end of March but that’s been and gone. Not to say he / she is wrong again.

It hasn’t happened. I asked for clarity and got it.
