I think the selling is being done by a hedge fund. The best way for Gem to combat the current onslaught is to start a share buy back. They could easily pick up 10% of the company with just one large find. They have had 13 to date this year. I can't help but feel the price is being quelled for some kind of corporate action possibly a merger or takeover. The current price doesn't make sense.

While he is there he can assist with giving the officials a pen to sign the licence. :)

The fact that there have been no director share purchases and the company hasn't commenced a share buy back is rather strange. You never know they my have been approached for a takeover.

It could be a shorter that is in a bit of trouble and wanting to quell the price. They probably weren't expecting so many finds this year and thought the company would fail. It could be Sustainable continuing to sell. Something is odd though because in the past the share price would increase by a few pence per find, it's just not happening at the moment and there is a reason for it unbeknown to us. Have any of you contacted the company IR?

With 13 large finds this should be in the 20's at the very least. I think there are shenanigans going on in the background. If these large finds continue at this rate they will have a larger cash balance than the mkt cap. The share price is a nonsense and it just makes the LSE look like a joke.

Apollo was one of many to put in an offer. One of them will be back. Just a lot of manipulation at the moment for a lower entry point for the mobsters. Seen it time and time again. Patience will be rewarded here. Don't listen to the fudsters, they just want to buy back at the lowest price possible.

Let's hope they will be in search of the Grail in diamond terms. We don't need another 93 more directors...

I think MM will be open now for offers for the whole group. He complained about not seeing friends and family due to the Myprotein rebrand, he clearly hates the city and he would obviously want to be running a private company. I can see him selling THG for the right price and starting up another venture, one which he will always keep private. What would you all do in his shoes, he has clearly had enough of the bs. He has a vision and it will take time, one thing the LSE doesn't give you, others will see it and already have that's why there have been numerous offers in the past. Let's hope we get a bidding war.

It has clearly gone over most peoples head's but MM has literally put up the for sale sign. He has had a lot of interest in the past from PE but has declined because he wanted to have his hand at the tiller to see what he created thrive. I think he has become disillusioned as others can't see what he sees. In the US investors would have backed his idea but unfortunately over here analysts and investors can't look beyond a quarter. Each of the three units are worth individually more than the current mkt cap which is a complete nonsense.

This will get taken over for between 150-250. It's just a matter of time, why do you think there are so many bashers on here. Wake up and smell the coffee...

Another stone greater than 400ct or a large coloured diamond and the shorter is toast.

I would prefer a share buy back as this wold help GEM with eps going forward or better still a mixture of both.

What we need is a Lesotho Legend II and this would really blow the share price. That sold for $40m, that's more than twice the current mkt cap. It's just a matter of time...

I really don't know why some of the smaller diamond miners merge to save costs and minimise risk. Offices in London, saving in director fees and listing costs etc. It won't happen though because the directors would be out of a job, turkey's don't vote for Christmas.

No TR1 for the buyer, is that because the buyer was closing an undeclared short position? Why doesn't the company ask the FCA to investigate. They are allowing their small shareholders to be mugged as the share price at the very least should be in the 20's after all these large finds. Either they have hit a rich vein or since taking in the mining activities in house they are finding more. I wonder how many large stones went under the radar when the Prime minister's outfit had the contract. It's an expensive game politics. One thing for sure is that the share price is being manipulated, let's hope they find another Legend.

I think that's the best way to go. If Bougouni is sold for a good price Bernard will certainly have a large war chest for development and to acquire new projects.

At what price? I always thought that a minimum would be at 1.5p but Spod prices have been weak and Hainan although will be looking at the longer term picture may not want to pay this.

I think PI's have been mugged as this has just become a cash cow for the Lesotho Gov. and the BOD. I don't know why they even bother putting an RNS out with large finds as it makes no difference. The shareholders won't benefit from it, they never have done and never will. Where has all the money gone from previous sales and with regards to the NAV what is this made up of... A bit more transparency is required. I just wish they would put us out of our misery and commence an MBO.

I might add I wouldn't be surprised if Graff went in with them as they are not only Gem's largest customer of big stones but also the second largest shareholder and no doubt with continued selling from Sustainable they will take the number 1 spot.

Well that would suggest that it's a good time for an MBO. It's blatantly clear that the largest holder wants out, the share price is virtually at all time lows and they have been finding a lot of great diamonds. No better time to strike in my book.

Perfect for an MBO, maybe the reason the directors haven't been buying. They could probably do it for 30p.
