Who sets the bid and ask? Yes the MMs- so whilst the mm's dont directly advise if each trade is a buy or sell- they for sure do indirectly as anything above the mid price THEY HAVE SET is recorded as a buy and anything below as a sell. And they are well aware of this. Cant understand why they can advertise false bid/ask prices but yet are regulated down to how many minutes after a trade goes through it has to be made available to the market. Also im sorry but your william hill analogy carries no weight here as william hill dont need to advise of each trade whereas MMs do- this is a requirement for a reason my friend. Enough of MMs for now. Happy to hold for as long as required as if Ackers is happy to buy on the open market so am I (",) Look what he has achieved with CHA. Atb n GLA
